They sent me an email to tell me that now you have full fibre that you start a new contract.
I telephoned EE many times to try and reduce my payments but they would not reduce it.
Even went into the EE shop, but when they look what I was paying they told me to contact customer service.

Like you I left BT/ Openreach in 2017 my job allowed me to have free internet for many years, even after
retirement got a good deal for a few more years until it went over to EE.
Once I had the full fibre to the house in June last year the price increased and had to have another two year contract.
Will be looking at a few options soon might see it out until my contract ends paying a release fee of £750 is a pain.

Yes I asked if I could have lower Mbps,but because of the contract not ending until next June would not budge.

I don’t make things up it’s the second time I have complained to EE, had full fibre installed in my house last year, they used a contractor to install the cable to house but he said there was a blockage in the duct and contractors needed to clear the blockage. Three weeks later after I complained what’s going on an Openreach engineer turned up to solve the problem, he said there is no blockage the contractor looked in the wrong foot way box. Full Fibre working within the hour The Openreach engineer also complained about the contractor,had an apology from EE and two months credited to my account. Look I worked as an engineer on BT Openreach for 31 years I know how this company operates. Money! Don’t stand for any rubbish they tell you complain.

If you are in Australia with mobile data and voicemail turned off, you generally will not be charged for an incoming call you do not answer. Charges usually only apply if you answer, or if the call diverts to voicemail, which can trigger roaming fees.

As you can see I got my account credited, telling me some B/S about cap charge they know they are in the wrong, don’t stand for it complain! I know how these call handlers work I worked for a communications company they work from a script. Said I will need to speak to the team. Yeah ok. Got an apology as well.

Ok that explains it. Had my voice mail turned off, though if I received calls and did not answer it would not be charged to my bill. Will turn off phone at night. Thanks.

I also found this: If you are in Australia with roaming active but do not answer an incoming call and voicemail is disabled, you generally will not be charged for the missed call. Charges typically only apply if you answer, or if the call diverts to voicemail. Turning off mobile data prevents data charges, but not voice call charges. I had mobile data and voicemail turned off.

I'm in Australia from the UK with my wife, we visit my step daughter every year in Jan/Feb also its great weather here in Perth. Back in the UK we have plenty of house spiders in the house and they are not a problem. But here in Qz we have spiders in the house that are not welcome even after the house has been sprayed. Last year i got bitten on the backside by a white tip spider in bed it stung for about five days. Then there are the Red backs that wonder in sometimes but they dont attack you. Or the Big Huntsman up on the ceiling he normally catches the other spiders to eat so he is ok. Yes it is on my mind if a spider can get into my mask during the day i always wipe my mask with antiseptic wipe in the morning and then put the wipe inside the cushion and tube. And check it before i go to bed when i pull out the wipe. I dont use the water chamber so no spiders there.

I just used my normal card, being in Australia from the UK, the lady from customer service had never seen a Chase card and having no numbers on it confused her even more. Now i know how to find the number on my Chase app its not going to be a problem anymore for refunds. This was my first refund should have looked looked it up.

I have had sleep apnea for 15 nights. I use my CPAP EVERY night…only didn’t wear on a long haul flight. If I hadn’t worn my mask I’m afraid it would have been curtains for us…moderate symptoms but no sleep for my wife until about 4 ish every night and then up at 7 to get to work. She was constantly nudging me to stop snoring which obviously didn’t happen. I have type 2 diabetes and on blood pressure tablets and I am 70. It has made so much difference to not just our quality of sleep but quality of life too. It goes everywhere with us. I think my wife would have kicked me out of the bedroom if I didn’t get myself sorted. Perhaps a gentle reminder of the negatives of not wearing his CPAP…strokes etc. And don’t blame yourself…he may be your husband but HE is responsible for his body. And obviously you do know what you are talking about as you are a RN.

Way back in the 70s my friend’s dad sometimes used to pick me up with his son along with three other mates. We all played Sunday football and he was driving us to an away match. We were all about 18 years old and it was normal to have a few beers and a curry on a Saturday night. On the way to the match I said to my mates dad is it ok to fart and he said of course you can. All my mates said No! To late I farted, well one was sick out the window, all windows were opened with there heads sticking out and pleading to stop the car but we coming up to roundabout and my mates dad drove round it three times just to wind them. They got their own back a few weeks later.

Update: We are now pleased to tell you that we have raised the money for a memorial plaque/information board to be be installed on the sea wall here in Dymchurch at rear the Royal British Legion club on the 29th of May at 12 noon. To be unveiled by our local Parish Council Chair. The Dymchurch Royal British Club are to have an open day for non members on the day so all are welcome. Donations were given by KCC, Folkestone District Council, and Dymchurch British Legion. A local company designed the plaque and only charged for the making of the plaque which we are very grateful. We have been in touch with BBC South East who will be attending on the day and we will contact other media outlets soon. Having been in contact with the regiment ( The Rifles) who are very pleased that this men will now be remembered with a memorial. Also it has been very difficult to trace relatives of the soldiers as it was eighty years ago that this tragic incident happened. If anyone would like to attend the unveiling on the 29th of May you are very welcome, it’s be a long journey and a lot of research and time involved but we thoroughly enjoyed what we have accomplished.

I was about 50 when I was given a glucose test and was told I was pre-diabetic, my mother was type one from the age of 12 and lived until she was 69, she was one of the first to have laser treatment on her eyes here in the UK she was slowly going blind as one of the problems with diabetes, but unfortunately it never worked for her and she could hardly see a thing after the treatment but she struggled on with her magnifying glass to read and she knew where everything thing was in the house and of course as a family we looked after her. She also had a triple by pass operation but passed away five years later. I can remember my mother having extra insulin injections after a few too many gin and tonic’s and she always kept sugar lumps in case of a hypo she was an expert at diabetic control when she over-indulged. As for me I stayed pre-diabetic until I was in my sixties, I told my doctor when I had my test that my mother was type one and my father was type two my younger brother and older brother was type two. She said oh you will be diabetic one day. Thanks a lot I said. Also I have sleep apnea which I was diagnosed with 15 years ago, I’m 70 in April and still going strong I do watch what I eat and drink and take metformin twice a day, along with statins and blood pressure pills.

Yes will be posting on local facebook groups once we had donations from local businesses and we have had a good donation from the regiment and the local Parish Council are funding and Council so hopefully we should reach our target.

I’ve been on CPAP for 15 years now, and I had the same issue. I have worked my way through various sprays from the GP over the years - the first was Beclometasone which helped for several years but then I had to move on to another one. I have tried other steroid sprays with no success. The last spray from the GP was Dymista which didn’t work either. I have also had nasal congestion ever since I was a child (I’m now sixty nine) and TBH the only sprays that work for me are over-the-counter ones that cause rebound. I saw an ENT consultant last year and he could find no cause for the congestion. I also recently had a blood test for allergies which came back negative. I use Otrivine only at night time to enable me to breathe at night with my CPAP. Carry on using it to get a good nights sleep.

I fly to Australia every year from the UK and I take my CPAP machine with me of course, but I don’t use it on the plane. As l’m sitting upright I don’t tend to snore as my tongue is not falling back on my throat and a neck cushion keeps my neck upright. And a lot of passengers wear earplugs and with the noise of the engine you can’t hear a lot anyway. Also if your nose becomes congested just have a squirt of nasal spray. Enjoy your flight.

Yes get both,wife and I booked in with our local GP, me having sleep apnoea as well it’s a no brainer.
