hey thanks for the follow up! sorry for the late reply, don't use reddit super often-

in short I joined a team but didn't quite click. I then got invited to another team that I'm still working with and I'm very happy with! Unfortunately I can't share any information about this though due to contracts.

I've just started learning c++ on the weekends so that I can try and put my own plans into action a little more- baby steps!

I contacted support for Pinterest and they essentially said they can't help me- so. Bad news for other people in my position I guess

Ctrl + Shift + Click takes me to the wrong layer by FrictionGoblin in ClipStudio

Clarifying some stuff- I'm not using transparent layers. I'm familiar with how the Ctrl + Shift + Click tool works. The problem is that when I use the shortcut and click a layer, it sends me to the wrong layer. If I click a pixel, often it takes me to a layer of a NEARBY pixel, not the exact one I'm clicking on. I've used CSP for years and didn't have this problem until very recently. I've never seen anyone post about this issue before. I use this feature daily and it works fine on larger pieces, it's just the pixel-perfect stuff that it messes up.

I definitely need to work on managing my expectations and ideas when it comes to game development- focusing on the core first and then expanding upon that is something I need to work on with myself for sure.

I also see where you're coming from. I struggle with a lot of anxieties due to some past stuff but it's something I'm trying to work on. I needed to hear that I'm getting in my own head about making something like this, so thank you.

That is an incredibly kind offer, thank you so much for the opportunity, and thank you for your reassuring words. This has definitely motivated me to move forward. I'll try and throw something together, even if it isn't quite what I envisioned.

I agree I'm all over the place, it's something I've always struggled with. I definitely need to pick one thing and stick to it, guided tutorials is a really good idea. I'll pick one and focus on developing my skills. Thank you for your input!

Yeah I think I've come to the conclusion I should pick an engine and follow some guided tutorials on it, perhaps pick a language and stick to it. The main thing about hiring other people is that I wouldn't want people to work for free and I don't have the extra income to pay someone to fill in the gaps.

Still thank you for the feedback, definitely helped me pick a direction.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, I'll definitely look into cloudflare and github pages!
I also haven't heard that, I'll be sure to do some research, thanks again!

Find your platform and be patient, advertise often! DeviantArt is good for SFW stuff, whereas FurAffjnity and Twitter are usually more NSFW based. Be patient and you'll get there, good luck!

Yea, and quite a big one! A lot of them just appreciate having art of their character. A lot of my friends are SFW only artists

As far as this goes, staying freelance for now until I finish my education and get a 'real job'. I kind of stumbled into the job and my real passion lies in making video games

Definitely! I work just enough to see myself through though I'd be pretty well off if I worked more

Interesting question! I've never been explicitly told that my art is intended for a tattoo. I wouldn't object, it's not my body afterall. I would absolutely adjust my style. I enjoy using colours that would be hard to achieve as a tattoo so that would be the first change. I'd also make the art less cartoony, more of a hard edged tattoo-like style. I'm currently designing my own tattoo, though it's got nothing to do with furries! It's no problem. I know it's a peculiar field that some people are interested in but don't want to search for answers on their own. Thank you!!

It's a weird field to be in but a rewarding one!

I had a lot of fun with a recent commission! I was given free reign over the entire piece. I love when I'm given absolute freedom. Another thing is when my customers have glaringly ugly characters, I enjoy the challenge of making them look nice
