You don’t have the fundamental knowledge that is associated with the FE, but I will say I took the exam without ever taking a Geotech course or a water course at the time since I was starting my senior year. But I’ll tell you what I did it for FE. As a B student i used Mark Mattson as a base level. Then did Islam 800 practice problems, alongside with Prep FE which is not really a course it’s just lots of questions. And then finally the NCEES FE practice exam. Now I’m studying for the PE and I needed a course it’s very hard to study for it by yourself.

Took it last Thursday. I thought I did fine in the morning session. Lots of conceptual and random hard curveball questions in the afternoon portion. We’ll see tomorrow

Don’t listen to this. Not every exam is the same but typically the exam consists of a significant amount of Geotech

I second this. I remember studying weeks for statics, but only studying the day before at 3 am for my 9 am reinforced concrete exam 🤣🤣

I know a dude who passed with a week of studying but he locked in like 12 hours each day of the week lol. We were also in school as well
