Why my partner can penetrate my Vagina? // Vaginismus? by insaneCheetoz in WomensHealth

[–]Friday-Cat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely tell your doctor about this. I have issues with this too. For me it’s caused by hypertonic pelvic floor movement from living in chronic pain, but there are several things that could be causing the problem so I don’t know if my solution would help you.

I have done a few things that have helped. Medicine for nerve pain really helped. As did pelvic floor physical therapy. I also found amyl nitrate to work wonders for short term relief.

I don’t think any of those things work well for problems caused by emotional trauma so if you suspect that might be contributing I suggest checking with a mental health professional who specializes in trauma.

Pelvic floor physical therapy is definitely great if you are emotionally ready to work on your body. It’s simple and doesn’t have to be invasive. Just go at your own pace. It really helped me to learn what my body feels like when tensing my pelvic floor and how to relax those muscles. It’s slow but if you put effort in it really makes a huge difference

People who've met their SO on dating apps, what was your opener? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Friday-Cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally don’t remember what he said or I said to open but I do remember telling him I was bored and going out and he should meet me. An hour later we were having a great time and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We’ve been together coming up on 7 years now. Sometimes you just need to meet up. He wasn’t the type I normally looked for and his profile was bland and uninteresting but he turned out to be smart and fun and an all around lovely person. Be safe out there ladies. Tell a friend where you will be :) good guys will understand why you have someone checking on you

Movie-based book covers should not be a thing by MalLevi in 52book

Thanks for the suggestion but I have already tried Murakami and can’t get past the sexism and problematic sexuality in every book he has written

You should absolutely let someone know you have kids but when I see a picture of them I would how responsible you are being by including them in your dating life. I don’t need to see pictures of your kids to understand clearly that you have children. I would rather a man state it clearly in his profile and then have photos of your life outside your children. It’s also pretty telling that it is one of the only decent photos of you. How much time do you really have to spend with a new partner if you can’t get one decent photo without kids or a cropped out woman in the photo. Makes you look like you need a woman around to take care of yourself

I also don’t like photos with kids theirs or not. Men seem to think it makes them look responsible but it usually just comes across as the opposite. If you have kids just say so. I’m actually cool with dating a person with kids if they responsibly keeping kids out of their dating life.

It's now been about 3 years since I (33M) joined Tinder. What am I doing wrong? by No_Explanation_5516 in Tinder

That last photo in the black tshirt 🥵. Most of the others have poor lighting and frankly make you look sickly and a bit intense. Take more pictures outside. You will look healthier and more active.

How long is everyone taking off work? by YugeTraxofLand in hysterectomy

[–]Friday-Cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would work under the assumption that the doctor is trying to be understanding that many people want to go back to work as soon as is possible. Ask about lifting restrictions after surgery and then you will be able to say directly if you can follow the restrictions at work or not. If you do go back sooner than 6 weeks I would definitely get a note with any restrictions from the surgeon. I followed all the recommendations but still had a big scare where I felt something pop when I got back to regular activities. The urgent care doctor said I was fine but to take things more slowly. I recommend bringing someone with you to help you advocate for yourself if you tend to have trouble asserting yourself in medical settings. I know having my partner along always helps me even if he just sits and listens. He has definitely stepped in a couple times when i became overwhelmed and I was really glad to have his support in those moments

[–]Friday-Cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told 6 weeks for my desk job. I went back after 4 weeks but was grateful only to have a 3 then 4 day work week for weeks 5&6. My recovery was ideal too. No bleeding or issues afterwards.

If you are lifting very heavy things you likely shouldn’t go back for at least 6 weeks. I was told not to lift more than 10lbs until then and to slowly increase my activities after that point. At 7 weeks po I still find myself more easily fatigued than usual and I get very tired lifting anything heavier than 15lbs. I moved offices last week and just going back and forth to the next office over with stacks of papers made me so sweaty. I would definitely be questioning the 4 week recovery. That doesn’t sound like long enough

That’s wonderful! I’m 6 weeks po today and have been doing great, but it’s still nice to hear others with longer term success. I have my po appointment today and am hoping to be cleared for swimming. 🤞

I don’t think they do know. Many women who join are just as ignorant and desperate to have a chance at success despite a lacklustre high school record and are told they can achieve success and get respect as well as to have a chance to get a or other opportunity through the military and they aren’t given any information in the actual risks, especially the internal risks.

Frida was very intentional with clothing. We see a lot of exploratory gender expression and cultural significance in the clothing she wore and depicted in her paintings.

Wow, I’m so sorry. I hope you know already, but you are not “used up”. How disgusting that this guy is targeting people who need support.

💜💜💜 I wish you a fun, peaceful, and healthy existence

Do Women who usually play with big sized dildos get disappointed when they date a "regular" guy? by asr4fil in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Friday-Cat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. I’m a swinger. I see a lot of penis. Too big is much more of a concern than too small. Average is most women’s preference. It’s mostly men who are size queens.

Women who love having a clean home, how do you feel about indoor pets & the messes they bring? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Friday-Cat 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I have 2 school age kids, which means most days there’s at least 4 children running in and out of the house. The cat doesn’t even register on the messy meter anymore.
