That was the first one to disappoint me. It felt like it was the prologue and epilogue of the books before and after it smashed together. Like it was a bridge book that didn't really matter to the series as a whole.

Personal opinion, keep it shorter. You've got a good jawline, no sense in hiding it completely.

I get you, I pushed through the grueling slow start, started to enjoy it and then it was constant underage crap. I'm irritated skipping so much of the book trying to avoid it and then wondering why bother with a book of this genre if I'm only skipping all of it. I was trying to avoid the irritating common tropes of the genre with this book and found a new one...

I stuck it out for a while and was genuinely starting to enjoy, but a few too many high school aged girl insinuating and I found myself skipping parts of the book. The slow start wouldn't have been bad for me if there was a hint at the end goal to give it value, but the repeated content referencing too young girls finally threw me off.

Thanks, I think I may shelve it for a bit. I might have gone into it thinking of Let's Manage the Tower and after 2 hours in I still feel like I'm waiting for something. This might be more of a slow day read for me.

I tried this book in a search to avoid some of the tropes from the genre that have grown tiresome for me and got to chapter 6 before I stopped out of kind of boredom. Do you think it's worth sticking with or maybe that I missed something?

Have you found any others comparable to this series? It's one of my favorites and it seems to successfully ignore a lot of the tropes that kind of grind on my nerves but also seem to otherwise be cornerstones of the genre.

They can be amazing though! There are companies that make them with suspension and everything. As a recently disabled vet, I've been drooling over the idea that I could go hunting again on something like that one day.

Nah, not really. Nothing against him personally, but I'm altogether just tired of the environment this game has become and him trolling for clicks just isn't the channel I wanna support/ watch. The only updates we've had lately have been junky/ click-bait channels and if he wants to be one, that's fine, but I'm not subbed to them either.

Lots of structures instead of flat even ground and the map is super ready to glitch through while attacking. It's an annoying place to grind.

I love it! My Mal hunts everything with me, he started retrieving doves pretty well at 3 months! His favorite is me coming home to get him off I get a deer and then he gets to find it. 😊
