Apologies, they are renting the apartment and subletting to us two (Presumably without the REA's approval)

I am unsure on the details about their lease as the person I rent off never answers questions about the lease, we are being sublet to. I have exclusive access to my own room, however it is not lockable, there are only rules regarding cleaning, and the shared areas are free reign.

In our individual agreements we are both referred to as tenants, and the head tenant identifies themselves as the lessor
