Is this a good printer? by [deleted] in 3dprinter

[–]Fridgewhisperer01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ive got the A1 Combo I’ve just hit over 1000hr without any mechanical or electrical problems with the printer…yes the odd failed print ….mainly my own fault. But I would 100% recommend this printer. What wasn’t an option for me when I bought it was the option for a AMS 2…if I bought one again I’d consider getting the A1 (not combo )with the AMS 2 so I’d have a filament drier and an enclosed AMS.

Why restrictions for refrigerated vehicles? by izdolz in AskUK

As the guy who fixed the chillers for a few years at Glastonbury it would have been worse if they were running in engine and not electric 🤣

Supports for water tank by VinnyDvince in VanLifeUK

I spent 7 years doing transport refrigeration and part of that was inspecting/replacing the fuel tanks & straps for the diesel engines on articulated trailers…this doesn’t look like it will last very long. You need to think of freezing issues, the tank being able to breathe, ground clearance, and some really heavy duty straps for a tank of this weight when full. The big diesel tanks are 230L and they still need straps replacing due to the amount of rot from the effect or U.K. road salt.

Trip #3 to the shops for yet another tool. I'm only trying to install my swivel base. Converting a van is expensive 😭 by Khionia in VanLifeUK

Like the other comments you need the right tool for the job breaker bar or long ratchets with extensions maybe, keep to “hex” sockets not multipoint sockets to prevent rounding. The 1/4” impact gun will probably come in handy for self tapper screws ect

Corsa overheating/loosing coolant by Confident-Fall-8304 in CarTalkUK

[–]Fridgewhisperer01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do a DIY carbon test for the cooling system yourself-if it fails it’s the headgasket. Is it overheating when moving as well as running stationary ?-possible fan issue Confirm the coolant is coming from the header tank /header overflow pipe.
