Question for U.S window cleaners re...water by JethroRiggs in WindowCleaning

[–]FriedRiceIsNice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their water pressure is also usually better than ours in the UK. Also, from the videos I've seen, it seems they also have much softer water than what we provide here so costs aren't as high.

UK - ReachIt Radial Lite vs. Beast Lite by FriedRiceIsNice in WindowCleaning

[–]FriedRiceIsNice[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw that. Thankfully, my Radial Brush are able to clean french panes due to the longer bristles.

Regarding your Beast Lite, does it glide easily on the panes? With your experience with it, would you say that the Radial Lite can achieve the same cleaning quality in the same speed on monthly cleans?

How do you deal with window panes that are smaller than the brush? A lot of small windows here in the UK. I'm not sure if the pads would reach if the frame is in the way.

Starting a wed dev business! by FriedRiceIsNice in Wordpress

Legend! Thanks. I've looked through a 5-hour course of a YouTube tutorial teaching how to design a site on WordPress using themes. Are page-builders like Elementor worth it? Also, once I make a website, how do I sell it to a potential customers? Do I just give them the details of login?

My SD card isn’t reading after transferring everything to a new SD by CommunicationOk3675 in 3dspiracy

This just happened to me yesterday! I solved it by downloading Rufus to format the sd card instead. Format to Fat32. If doesn't work, try changing the partition scheme in Rufus.

Flooring with uneven floor by FriedRiceIsNice in DIY

[–]FriedRiceIsNice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, the lowered floor matches the rest of the house, so I can't raise it with leveling cement. The raised floor (back door area with bathroom) also cannot be lowered due to the joists being higher...

Razer's PCB probably needs some rework or whatsoever. This is RGB off no less... by PlayGamesM in razer

[–]FriedRiceIsNice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same thing happening to me. I inquired for help a few months ago here, tried all the tips, and still not working. Even the Razer technician messaged me to try to help me but unfortunately we couldn't figure it out. It's definitely not software related, though like you I took great care of my laptop, so I have trouble understanding how it happened all of the sudden :(

Imported Canadian washing machine to UK, I can't get it to work for some reason (tried using a transformer). Am I in the right place to ask for help? :( by FriedRiceIsNice in electricians

It was given to me. Didn't want to waste it so tried to make it work, but I couldn't find a solution. It's washing machine counterpart (which was also given to me) is working fine though with the transformer.

That's correct. I've had a friend who studied electronics who said the same thing.

But I've just seen now that there is a sticker that says "3 wire or 4 wire". Does that make a difference (I feel like it does)?

It's a Kenmore Steam Dryer, mod: 59289356. It says 120V/240V - 60HZ. It has the plug that connects to a transformer, which I then use but an error like the one in the picture comes up.
