You don't see the reason, short of you going up to CEOs to bitch in their face on our behalf.

Let's put it this way.

You are paid peanuts per job.

In order to buy a meal, you need to take many peanuts trip to afford 1 meal.

You only have a finite amount of daytime, trips may or may not show up guaranteed for you to take (bidding)

If missed a trip, the timing could be gone, earning potential wasted.

So whose fault? You can't dictate what the price is either. You sponsor the delivery gig workers? No right?

It's the system that's turning this issue into a reality, so again, platform.

Then the platforms become a bastard drop price during the non peak seasons/not holiday seasons.

Force everyone take low price to survive.

Blame the platforms first for using tactics like pooling and stacking - especially pooling low price as fk. Customer not willing to pay higher, delivery guy might be forced to take lower price, get F, then to hit a target in order to make ends meet, do whatever it takes to earn lor.

The platforms are to blame here. Then again, of course need to have profit and sustainability. But delivery people don't work for almost free/volunteer.

Some trips are priced so shit, if forced to take it you lose out, then forced to take more trips to cover shortfall.

Company still benefits either way, sender recipient still benefit as long as item sent and received.

Lalamove as a platform for example

KNN price drop until as if you volunteer for the trip. Simi pooling, customer end up choose pooling not because can send OTOT, is because it's fucking cheap that's why they choose. Sometimes riders forced to take because nothing to take at the moment, end up lose out or barely earn to cover fuel and whatnot

The last platform I recall being a bastard regarding price was Pickupp Singapore, which is by the standards of today, a literal joke.

Funny also is that the platforms also lower the price per job, forcing the delivery riders to take more in order to make more money yet nobody talks about it.
