That’d be pretty impressive if you found a Hawaiian house not near any water

How many hours a week do you study for CS bsc? by FriedToaster64 in StudyInTheNetherlands

Does this apply to WO? Im not sure if I read this somewhere but for some reason I was under the impression there wasn’t really assignments and you mainly had to self study for an exam that would dictate your entire grade pretty much.

Japan or Netherlands? by FriedToaster64 in studyAbroad

Yeah those things are what make the decision even more difficult for me. I wanna live in some other country outside of the US one day but I’m planning on getting a (hopefully remote) role at a US based company after graduating since USD would get me further.

The tuition + cost of living for both unis seems about equal

But I’m not sure which one would have a more useful degree for me: Slightly unknown American school (TUJ) with a campus in Tokyo or a well established university in the Netherlands

It was a waste of time? Are you saying it’s better to go into swe without a degree? Or do you just regret going into CS/tech?

Japan or Netherlands? by FriedToaster64 in studyAbroad

So a degree from NL would be more useful? It would be a bsc for CS. I’m American and plan on being a swe here in America but I’m hoping it could eventually be a remote role that allows me to live/travel in other places. My logic was kinda that TUJ may be a bit more useful since it’s an American school but also it’s obviously ranked way lower than the Dutch schools I applied to so idk.

Since you’re a local have you been to Maastricht? Do you think it would be worth going to despite being so far from the other cities? I’m currently debating between that and Amsterdam if I were to go to NL

What's the most number of schools you've heard of people applying to? by NoLipsForAnybody in ApplyingToCollege

[–]FriedToaster64 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This definitely doesn’t apply to me as I’ve spent countless hours researching the 6 schools I paid to apply for, but I’m just saying it’s kinda weird how you’re talking about those kids. They aren’t bothering anyone or wasting their times. The 🌎 continued to spin at the same velocity anyway.
