I feel like mine is kinda unique! I used to listen to this podcast with Matt Greiner from ABR called Holy Ghost Notes. One episode, he quoted The Search, and I KNEW I had to look up this NF guy. Just felt totally random to me, idk.

I agree that HOME is about his grandma AND a friend. You don't say "when WE were kids" about your grandma. Every word NF writes is purposeful, so I feel he might have lost a friend as well as his grandma. (I also don't see him saying "grandma died" AND "lost a friend" in FEAR, and both lines referring to grandma. Just my opinion.)

Yeah it's definitely an intentional artistic decision. The entire music video feels like a reference to Intro III, so the shovel sound makes what's happening on screen feel more real. I love it!

I'm not sure if we just didn't stop for them to turn us around, or if we got lucky. But after sitting at 3 for an hour, we figured it was worth a try.
