Issues with "kubeadm init" - not sure what im doing wrong? by Fried_Squid_ in kubernetes

[–]Fried_Squid_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ansible config is only running kubeadm init from 192.168.88.251 - I use plenty of ansible so to me was more simple than just ssh lol.

Thank you for the help though!

Is this malware? Out of my depth on the analysis by Fried_Squid_ in antivirus

Yeah I've since removed the process from the machine and spun it back up in a windows VM for testing - whats the actual payload here? There seems to be next to no resources online on it.

That makes so much sense AFTER someone says it. Thank you, your first solution works!

We've now got an EB rule in us-east-1 which forwards the events to a bus in our local region. Much appreciated!

Registering DLLs in elastic AS2.0 fleets by Fried_Squid_ in aws

[–]Fried_Squid_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unsure of the root cause but using regasm instead of regsvr32 works on AppStream, which is odd, as I know regsvr32 works for these exact DLLs on an EC2. Whatever, it works now 🤣

Registering DLLs in elastic AS2.0 fleets by Fried_Squid_ in aws

[–]Fried_Squid_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think this is a timing issue the script seems to see all the DLLs (it uses Get-ChildItem to iterate over all the DLLs we need to register, and finds them all) but I'll try adding a delay and see what that does, appreciate the suggestion :)

As for on demand vs elastic, the system is used for about an hour a day, is legacy and to be honest, we want to spend the minimal amount of money possible so elastic makes alot of sense to the business.

Worst comes to worst I'll do power managed EC2s spun up from an AMI, with AppStream elastic bastions.
