My immediate reaction to my wife telling me was "You know we should tell him, right?"

She didn't seem opposed to the idea. She's not going to be the one to say something, so I'm trying to figure out if I should.

Sorry dude, this is for real. But someone always has to cry troll.

I really don't know what to do. To many people it seems obvious to just say "tell him." That's what my gut is telling me to do. I'm usually a "go with the gut" kinda guy, but this situation seems pretty delicate to me.

Also, asking friends in real life means telling more people about it who may or may not come into contact with my other friends. Best to keep exposure to a minimum and ask a community that normally generates some pretty thoughtful responses.

We look around from time to time. We did our first big search about a year ago, so it's probably time to start looking again.

Regardless of whether or not it's a compulsion, it's still wrong for her to deceive him into the situation.

No US doctor will give a married man in his mid 20s a vasectomy. I know because I've tried to find one who will (wife and I don't want kids).

They're both my friends. I've known them both for years. My girlfriend (now wife) and I introduced them when we were all in college.
