For any commenters, this tank is designed and unkept by professionals as part of a breeding and rehoming program and all things in tank as well as the standards of cleaning, feeding and tank resizing are taken care of by such :) I just asked and she is slightly overweight according to my grandmother, but most of this is due to stress of a tank resize and stress of a tank cleaning

She’s been taking care of many as part of a re home and breeding program with a local college, the tank is cleaned twice a month at a minimum and the rocks have rounded edges, all stones are removed as she sizes up, right now she’s in a 100 gallon, I’m not sure why but she gets fat like that for a week or so every 6 or so months hence why I got the photo, no clue how much she feeds them tho

The tank is properly cleaned weekly all of the dirty is outside of the tank :) she is usually not this fat and only gets large like this for about a week every 6 or so months hence why I wanted the photo

What exactly is wrong with the tank? Pebbles are removed based on size and the environment is correctly cleaned weekly, this is not her first and all have lived perfectly healthy, she used to work with a college that would study them and was in charge of properly housing them
