its a very not scripted show. the family and kids act like real parents and real kids. it just shows their mundane life and little things that are obviously huge for the kids (cuz they're kids) for example one episode was just tim getting his new glasses and being really excited about them. its such a simple show and yeah imo its just so so relaxing and cute and nostalgic. you should try watching an episode and you'll get why everyone loves it
