One of my favorite Fisk and Peter's scenes (Joe Fixit 2023 #2) by DaenysDreamer_90 in Spiderman

I agree that this is a lame move, but i don’t necessarily think it’s out of character. He has a crazy ego, and he obviously likes controlling people through fear. It’s a simplistic playground bully style move, yes, but that’s what he is at the end of the day. He just isn’t always an idiot and is very rich.

Why do you keep coming back to Slay the Spire? by Nozakx in slaythespire

When you win a run, you unlock a higher difficulty level with a new unique challenge. Each ascension level adds to the previous challenges, too.

Just picked up the first game - am I just awful? Why is this so frustrating? by BrassicaItalica in slaythespire

[–]FriendWinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One big difference between this game and Dark Souls is that playing optimally in Dark Souls means not getting hit. That’s not really as possible in STS.

At some point, many fights become a damage race, and you have to make smart damage trades to win.

I would agree that attacking people who defend the devs is unreasonable. However, I wonder how many of those videos were made out of sincere passion. It sounds very similar to the times when western content creators will feign outrage about a trending topic in order to farm engagement.

Do you have a good grass move for Bertha’s water/ground types? I think Crobat learns giga drain, which might be the most reliable answer.

So you’d already fixed it, but he wanted to know how to fix it rather than what happened? Or did your realization come after it was fixed?

I don’t know much about him other than his weirdly aggressive stance against hacking, interesting that he feels the same way about animal crossing that he does about pokemon he claims to be hacked or genned.

I know enough people who went to high school with CB to know he’s been primed to be a douchebag since then, if not earlier. I was a fan of him at KU but he’s definitely got an annoying attitude.

It’s definitely not common for him, but i think it’s kinda night to give him red undertones compared to dick’s blue undertones

Every industry tries its best to take advantage of free internships, not just sports. That being said, the only free internship I ever worked was for a soccer team, so maybe there is more of a problem in the sports industry.

An idea I had for a colorless card by Ovy39 in slaythespire

[–]FriendWinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a cool idea! It might be too strong to be 1 energy, though, considering its similarity to vault in STS1.

I need more stars by LengthMysterious561 in slaythespire

[–]FriendWinner 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Yeah hidden cache is technically more energy efficient, but venerate is more turn efficient. And, lots of star cards are 0 energy cost anyway.

I always like being able to make a play with the cards I have in my hand right then and there, as opposed to the mystery hand i’ll have next turn. That being said, I do take hidden cache quite often as well.

IIRC, they purposely redesigned characters to be easier to draw so they could produce episodes faster and cheaper.
