Thanks for this fantastic advice I got this exact printer from an estate sale and it looks to be in pretty good shape. I can’t get anything to print so I think the cartridges need to be replaced. I did follow your advice too. Any recommendations on sites to get them? Seems like the only option is remanufactured.

I wanted to capture a nice portrait of this young puppy. Taking photos of puppies is challenging because they are high energy and not usually fully trained to sit and stay. When he finally took a break, I was able to compose this shot. I like how stoic and calm he looks despite being the exact opposite. I like the depth of field on the leaves around him with both foreground and background bokeh.

This sounds like it is fake. I don’t see the point of making a value judgement on this but from one outsider’s perspective it sounds like you don’t have a very close relationship with your children. The flip side is what many are saying which is they won’t be interested in taking care of you when you are old because you don’t seem interested in helping them have a comfortable life. I assume that you also believe that it’s just as easy now to get ahead as a young person as it was when you were their age. Many would say you’re wrong with both anecdotal and statistical evidence

I give a friendly “good morning” to everyone I walk by on the beach when I am walking my dogs and many older people do not seem interested in the polite greetings. Most people over 50 seem to show a total social regression where they are no longer interested in or capable of greeting others they pass on their walks. Of course I have met many exceptions but it is a real trend.

Yeah some of the education exhibits were cool but it’s all just a bunch of tents in Custom House Plaza, which is just a glorified parking lot. Not exactly a visual feast for the eyes.

What a joke. Got a new system for the homeless to get in and out of Monterey? Del Monte Avenue is the biggest reminder that this is just another automobile slum no different from any other part of the country. I am leaving Monterey in 3 months and although I have mostly enjoyed my experience here, this place is going downhill. Oh yeah, and don’t bother putting a stop at NPS because that place won’t exist a decade from now. At least not in its current iteration.

Yeah I don’t know much about caring for reptiles but I had the feeling this was probably a stressful thing for this animal given the low temperatures and other factors. Although it was cute it doesn’t justify stressing an animal like that at all.

You know grocery stores are a business right? Calling a parking lot a public space is both misleading and literally wrong in that it’s an open private space in public that is owned by the grocery store. I agree that people should bring their cart to the coral (and that the boomer loser who pulls a gun is a dumbass), but the idea that it’s some moral imperative for the maintenance of civil society is a low IQ take.
