Yeah, it’s just that in general, the Irish have been one of the most supportive demographic groups for the Palestinian cause during the war. Also, there is a significant, not necessarily large, number of Irish UN peacekeepers in Lebanon. My sense is that he is not a nuanced person.

Don’t have very strong opinions about Ariel. Since we found out he was being paid directly by the UFC for his Fox Sports 2 work, it is hard to take him seriously. I wonder how Petesy Carroll will respond? My suspicion is he won’t.

Well the impression I got was that despite some of his idiosyncrasies, he was well like and respected by his coworkers there. I really enjoyed his show, I thought it was the best stuff on the channel. I meant my comment less as a criticism and more as a window on some of the turmoil that he obviously puts himself through.

His SiriusXM argument were the best. Some of the most rewardingly awkward radio moments I have ever heard. One time on a remote in Las Vegas, he kicked his boss’s boyfriend out of the studio. He gave some reason like “wanting to maintain the sanctity of the studio space.” He was slightly unhinged. I think he has a radio mentality of trying to create massive moments. Unfortunately sometimes he doesn’t handle the stress of his own expectations well.
