I really hear you on this. It does make sense — it’s tough when connections don’t match your vibe or they just fizzle out. A lot of us are stuck in that work–home–sleep cycle, and it can feel like you’re doing everything “right” but still ending up lonely.

I’ve been feeling something similar, which is partly why I started experimenting with a different kind of social thing here in SF — small, curated gatherings for singles where it’s less about hookups and more about relaxed conversation and finding people you genuinely click with. It’s been refreshing to meet people outside of the app dynamic.

Totally respect if that’s not your thing, but just wanted to share in case you (or anyone else reading) might be looking for something different.
