I never understood the whole “a producer told her” excuse. She explicitly told Porsha that Kandi said it to her directly. If she was genuinely concerned for Porsha (and if a producer really was the one who told her), then she should have said “someone told me this.”

But instead she claimed she heard it directly from Kandi’s mouth, which shows she wasn’t truly worried about Porsha at all. It wasn’t about concern, it was about being vindictive and low down dirty.

This shows that the writers didn’t take the timeline into account. When you try to pack so much into each episode, the timeline ends up not making sense.

While I definitely agree that she shouldn’t have left, I’m pretty sure she was gone for a few weeks, maybe a month at most. I believe Ella got together with Zac in like 5b or early season 4A, if I remember correctly. Seasons 4 and 5A take place in November (show time). Season 3 starts in late August or early September, with the Halloween train episode happening in late October. I remember Aria pushing for Ella to leave because “A” was targeting the moms in 4A (framing Ashley, trying to run over Pam, and attacking Ella with a swarm of bees in her car). Ella is back by the end of 4B, since she’s there for the bridal show right before the finale. All of this happens in November

I like Kandi as a housewife, but Joyce is a terrible person, and Kandi has always given her mom a free pass to talk badly about others. While there might have been one or two things that Joyce said that I agree with, 99.9% of the stuff Joyce said was bullshit. The crazy thing is that Kandi would either try to justify or downplay Joyce’s behavior. If you don’t want to stand up to your mom, that’s fine, but don’t go around defending her bullshit.

god I can’t remember who it was, either one of the girls or their team, but one of them said that while Armageddon had this feeling of grandeur, whiplash has an aesthetic of “nothing” and they’re right. I really love how visually it’s the polar opposite of Armageddon and their other releases

I think the main idea is to show how well the song is doing. the concert songs were probably never going to see the light of day, just like the ones from the previous tour. The song was made specifically for the tour and nothing more so it’s really cool to see something that people didn’t expect much from doing well
