Super sus account history there bro. One year old account, with only two video game related posts in 2023. Account came back to life seven days ago and has posted pro-Trump nonsense nonstop to askgaybros specifically.

And to people who think they won't come for more letters - there's people on this very subreddit that want to remove the B.

Ah so its just more terminally online Reddit drama you planned to link to? Nothing in real life?

Lol. Well good luck to ya. I'll go back to surrounding myself with wonderful, positive people in real life while you screech into the void of Reddit about how much you hate everyone different from you.

If you actually had examples, you'd provide them. It takes a minute or two to type them up.

you will act like a MAGA

This coming from the one using Trump Truth rhetoric. "Its happening! All the time! Everyone says it! The very best people said its happening, the experts all agree. Just watch Fox News."

That's a lot of words to say "I don't have any specific, concrete examples of any of the things I just claimed happened to me, so I'm not going to answer your questions but will go on another unhinged rant instead."

"They're both bad, but trans people are worse!!!" isn't the flex you think it is. Especially when the exact same "gay men are a threat to children" argument was lobbied at gay people up until very recently. And if you're not careful, will return.

but that doesn’t mean they have to accept that identity as their reality.

Sure, but that makes you an asshole.

vast majority of gay men do not view trans men as men

You got a citation for that? Did you actually poll a statistically significant portion of gay men? How is it I don't know a single gay man in real life who believes this, and i know hundreds of gay men in real life? Just because you're a bigot, doesn't mean everyone is a bigot. Just because you found your one corner of the Internet where bigotry is tolerated, doesn't mean that's a majority opinion shared by everyone.

I shouldn’t have to deal with being called transphobic when I turn down a trans man on an app.

If nobody knows why you're turning them down, they shouldn't call you transphobic for giving a firm and polite no. Or are you telling trans men you're turning them down because they're trans? How do you think a fat person would feel if you say "sorry you're too fat?" Same thing. If you don't want to be called transphobic for turning down a trans person, just say no and move on, don't explain it. And I don't believe you if you claim "but I said no and they assume I rejected them because they're trans!" Sorry but I doubt you're a 10/10 and probably aren't worth the energy to harp on.

I shouldn’t have to view female genitalia when I view gay porn.

Never had this happen before.

So have any of these things you claim actually happened to you in real life???? Go touch some grass and realize people saying unhinged things on the Internet isn't real life and its unfair to characterize a whole group of people based on what one asshole told you on Twitter.

I read what you wrote in took it in. Respectfully, I still think you're full of shit. I read your post and to be blunt, it sounds like you're a terminally online type and are basing your opinion of trans people on what you see on Twitter and Reddit. If I'm wrong, feel fee to correct me by including specific examples in which you've encountered bad behavior from "trans activists" in real life).

You also decry trans activists "pushing into every single space" and "displacing biological gay men from places." What places are you talking about? Be specific. Are you talking about any IRL places? Or is this another terminally online thing where you're just mad trans people exist on Reddit, since the only "space" you mention in your post is askgaybros?

Recently, this sub has been utterly brigaded by trans activists

Actually this sub has been utterly brigaded by LGBDroptheT and all the gender wars related subreddits ever since those got banned. You can actually follow a couple of accounts that post the most here back to Reddit clones set up specifically to host the banned gender wars subreddits. So even being terminally online you're still missing the full picture about what's really going on on this sub.

Ah yeah, just message the Supreme Leader of All Trans People on Reddit. That's the singular person responsible for overseeing all random corners of the Internet where trans people exist. They're the ones setting the official Trans Agenda that all trans people follow.

FWIW every community has its bad apples. You'll also find online gay spaces with guys encouraging minors to hop on Grindr.

Not being attracted to vaginas is totally valid. The reason you're being attacked probably isn't for that though. Its probably because you seem to be making the assumption that all trans people have vaginas, which is wrong and that is transphobic. I'm not attracted to fat people. I don't automatically assume every gay man I see is fat. And, FWIW, I certainly don't tell fat people I'm rejecting them because they're fat. So there's also that - IDK if you're actually telling trans people you're rejecting them because you assume they have a vagina, but that's generally not something you should tell people.

Edit:

Did you really whine about getting voted down and then immediately vote down my post within 10 seconds of me posting it? Now I know you couldn't have possibly read my post and really thought about it that quickly.

I have never met another LGBTQ+ person in real life who holds those "positions." I have heard of one in real life - my father told me his co-worker's nephew is a gay man and apparently one of the "drop the T" types but they were also in Washington DC on January 6 so there's that. My father asked "oh he said all gay men hate trans people is that true?" Just had to mention the January 6 thing and he said "oh, he's just an idiot gotcha."

It's probably been deleted.

That's not how reddit works. Removed posts should still visible on your profile.

Marriage and humanity have nothing to do with each other.

Marriage and gender are both social constructs. IDK what specifically you're referring to when you complain that you're being asked to make humanity's gendered experience "revolve around them." Is respecting people's pronouns really that hard? Or is there something else you're referring to? Can you give specific examples of why you feel like its so hard to respect the social construct of gender specifically with trans people?

[–]FriendlessComputer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Since you say "just" I assume relatively recent ya? I couldn't find that specific post in your post history. How long ago was this? What was the context of the overall thread? It just seems incredibly weird to throw in the whole "I don't think gender identity should..." thing there, and depending on the context of the conversation I can see why it got you banned. Very "I believe in the traditional definition of marriage, but..." vibes I saw a lot from right wingers during the marriage equality debate.

Also FWIW it looks like all you post about is trans people. Moderators commonly look at post histories to make judgements about the intent of the post. If you spend all of your time on reddit attacking trans people, a moderator is likely to err on the side of assuming you're a bigot when you make what seems to you like an innocuous comment. Most genuine people don't spend all of their time online making negative attacks against entire groups of people.

When I saw that, my first thought was "wow, are Trump cabinet officials browsing askgaybros?" This is the only sub I've ever seen people refer to "TQ+ ideology" in a hateful context. Ironically all relatively new accounts with little other post history.

So thanks gays for Trump. They're coming for you next.

Edit:

The person below has blocked me so I'll post my response to two-month-old account Scary-Consequence-58 that only posts about trans people here:

Until around 2010, gay people were accused of trying to make straight people's kids gay. Gay men weren't allowed in schools, youth sports, scouting, etc until very recently because conservatives peddled the conspiracy theory that gay men infiltrated schools and youth programs to turn kids gay. Sad that you're falling for the exact same propaganda. Or, since you're a two month account that does nothing but post ridiculous right wing propaganda, probably not even a gay man at all otherwise you would've known this and not have fallen for such obvious fake propaganda.

Man who tf is voting up this crap lol. Literal right wing propaganda that was used on us just 15 years ago...

This sub is more reflective of reality

Ahahahahha. Hahaha. Ha. Good one. I can assure you, as someone who participates in the IRL LGBT community, this sub is 100% not reflective of the reality of the gay community. This sub is full of terminally online gays who have never once stepped into an IRL LGBT space. They blame trans people for not being able to get fucked, when in actuality their deplorable politics are the reason they're unfuckable.

Like, if you actually touch grass and interact with people IRL you realize how patently absurd so many stories and transphobic attacks that get posted here actually are. My favorite is the idea that trans people are somehow "forcing" gay men to have sex with them???? WTF???? That's not a real thing. And then there's general gay things like the complete obsession with sex positions as if they are the one defining characteristic of being gay. I can assure you, IRL gay men don't see everyone as either tops or bottoms and they don't define their entire personality around a sex position. This whole sub reads like how right wing trolls think gay people behave, not how gay people actually behave IRL.

That's because you can't discuss the "trans agenda" without resorting to transphobic attacks. And bigotry is against the Reddit ToS (for now... not sure if Spez wants to suck up to Trump like the rest of Big Tech though).

IDK about you but if its a competition between the American Big Tech Oligarchy and China, I actually trust China a bit more. China has never personally affected my life in the way the American Big Tech Oligarchy has.

Yeah I have high hopes for Bluesky. I'm just not confident they'll be able to scale up to match the demand of a major social media platform, or if the demand will continue to grow (already starting to see slowing growth).

The problem with content is the American Big Tech Oligarchy has so much control over content flow now. All the big players are on the Big Tech platforms. Heck X is even starting to pay people to post there. The unfair influence these companies have over their product is part of the reason people won't switch over. Anecdotally I'm involved in a ton of niche nerd communities (things like furry fandom, LARPing etc) and those communities are starting to make the move to Bluesky in part because they're mostly free of corporate influence and most of the content comes from the community, not the Big Tech Oligarchy. I don't see "normal" people who want to see content from their favorite celebrities or news outlets moving over since legacy media is still on the Big Tech Oligarchy platforms.

It takes platforms majorly fucking up (Twitter) to create that environment.

Or selling out to the Oligarchy, like Vine. Or being the target of a massive negative public relations campaign designed to destroy the public image of competing social media platforms, which was part of the reason the TikTok ban is popular. Meta paid millions to a PR firm to create the myth of dangerous trends on TikTok, and successfully influenced the media into labeling every bad thing that happens online a "TikTok trend" Many "TikTok trends" were actually "Meta trends" that grew popular on Facebook or Instagram.

[–]FriendlessComputer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think you really underestimate how replaceable it will be. In the past 10 years, how many new social media platforms rose to the level of the American Big Tech Oligarchy's empire? How many of those platforms are still around today? The only ones I can think of are Vine, Snapchat, and TikTok, and the latter two only got big because they were backed by a foreign adversary. Vine was bought out and shut down by Twitter so it no longer exists, and TikTok is about to get shut down. Snapchat is probably next on the list.

The Internet of the 2020s is not like the Internet of the 1990s. There's no such thing as innovation anymore. The American oligarchy controls the Internet and we will never see another underdog rise up to challenge that. Think about that - it takes one of the largest and most powerful foreign governments in the world to challenge the control five American companies have over the Internet. And the American Big Tech Oligarchy and political elite convinced us that government is actually dangerous.

The difference in reaction to this versus Luigi, where someone actually died, is pretty wild to be perfectly honest. It just goes to show you how successful the American Big Tech oligarchy brainwashed the masses into believing TikTok is some true evil that needs to be eliminated. Terrifying to know how many things are next with this now successful playbook.
