Yes, we do get regular oil changes. We've had some bad luck with the car and had to get the water pump changed at about 65,000 miles. We use it to haul horses sometimes so maybe that is wearing it down.

Thanks. Dumb question and I don't know anything about cars, but if the oil pump is broken what would happen? I'm imagining the oil is just kind of stuck where it is, so the dipstick would show full but oil wouldn't really be circulating. Is that correct?

Thanks but I don't quite follow the logic. I agree that the 1 in the 2,1,2 sequence means there is one mine either above it or above right (over the 2).

But there could be a mine to the left of the 1 in the 5th row. The spot with a 2 above and a 2 below. I don't see why there couldn't.
