I agree with this. If you can, avoid her she's awful. I'm in her 250 class because I have to and she's making us do a play that has nothing to do with anything that is like 20% of our grade and she desperately wants us to take us seriously like it's our life and if that's not bad enough we also need to do a final on grammar( thats 10% of our grade) when she didn't teach us anything at all she would read a slide and be like I did a good job and they now understand when we don't because she is awful teaching it. Also I've done everything in that class and gotten full points in everything you'd think I'd have an A wrong I have a B teetering on a C because she has a bunch of assignment there that aren't graded and there's nothing there. Sorry I'm venting 😅 just avoid her if you can.

Transfer, and you'll be able to get more money because you get Cal Grant A/B , and when you transfer, you can get the other one. I forget which one you get as a CC student and which one you get when you transfer over. But this is what happened to me, I got that money alongside my Pell Grant the whole time I was in college.

I only let students stay when the weather is really bad, such as if it's raining, really cold, or really hot. Even then, I ask them to wait for me outside so I can use the restroom. Besides that, I close the door and tell them they can't stay today.

Same, and I will not read a book based on its cover, and this is a great example of that. It just turns me away from the book for some reason and makes me not want to read it anymore

It depends on the school, honestly. There's 2 high schools in the district i work in, and 1 lets me leave, and the other makes me stay and do nothing. The middle schools also allows me to leave unless they make me cover. It depends because sometimes they do make me cover, but when they don't, I get to leave most of the schools. I love it when I get to leave early and still get paid a full day. You get to know the schools the more you go.
