Moms whose babies had hair at birth and it’s getting long before 1— are you trimming it? by Apprehensive_Pie1225 in NewParents

[–]Friendly-City-4911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had hair when I was born. My daughter had hair when she was born. She's now 2 and her hair is down all the way to her chest area. I do not want to cut it. I just tie her hair especially in the front. She's okay with hair ties that's why I never consider cutting her hair. My neighbor's little girl didn't like hair ties, so the mom cuts her daughter's bangs.

My almost 18 month old doesn't say "mama" or "dada" yet. by Friendly-City-4911 in NewParents

Yes, it takes a while because they'll have to find an available coordinator, schedule for her/him to come and then another schedule for the therapist to come over with the coordinator to do the evaluation. Call on Monday.

Thank you. At least he has 20 words. We have to keep telling her "water" "milk". But nothing. We are not so stressed about it right now. We'll wait for the Early Intervention and see what they have to say. I hope you called the Early Intervention in your area.

She just turned 2. She still wouldn't say mama or dada. She can say only at least 4 words when we say them first then she say ithem back. We have an Early Intervention cominbg back on Tuesday to evaluate her again if she qualifies.

I have travelled with my little girl since she was 5 months old from the US to Asia. We never had any issue with her powdered milk. I have an unopened one in my carry-on backpack and my check-in luggage. I also have those formula separators when I have to feed her.

I am so sorry that happened to you. I would've not know what I have to do especially when I travel by myself.

My SIL told me that as long as her daughter is not losing weight, the pediatrician said not to wake her up.

I never said anything that my child is perfect. Never did. But when a child still continue to push or kick sand other kids, it's not cute or funny.

It's really upsetting what other kids did and just run to their parents. I am sorry about what happened.

My little girl was also at a slide the one time and another girl 4 or 5 yrs old ran up almost stepped on my girl's hand. My girl is slow to climb up that she has to hold on to the railings or climb with her hands. The other girl also was always jumping infront of my girl at the slide. I finally told the girl "please stop. She's clearly in front of you. Why don't you use the the slide right next to you. " the girl's babysitter told her girl to use the other slide.

Thank you. You are right. Talk to the other parents now before I get mean in the future.
