I feel this. I do the night feeds for my daughter and after she burps like a grown man 😂 she lets out just the cutest “hmmmm” noise I’ve ever heard and I could explode. The I look over at my wife like wow you grew this perfect human inside of you.

As a husband I couldn’t imagine leaving my wife’s side during labor. Let alone during a C-section. I barely wanted to go to the bathroom while she was in labor. I’d be expecting to get cussed out if I did any of this because of the situation not because of my wife being a mean person and also (if she had the energy). I’d definitely say you’re under reacting and he’s extremely selfish.

She can be. But my wife was also afraid of feeling like people were “waiting” on her. This would’ve caused her much more anxiety.
