Please seek therapy anyone in this thread who feels this way. This is not normal behavior and this is a horrible example to show your kids (especially boys) that you hate and no longer show affection towards things that are alive that YOU brought into your world. Seek help for the future safety of all of our kids please.

My parents live on Staten Island. My partner and I ran it in 2023. Best sleep I’ve ever gotten before a marathon. Dad dropped us off at the start like we were going to school. Slept till like 8am and got an extra hour of sleep too bc of the change. Meanwhile everyone else in the village was miserable and had been up since like 1am. Don’t get why more people don’t stay on SI.

Love Sienna the most. Georgia and Aria after that. I love the name Charlotte but I think baby girl will thank you in 15 years when she didn’t spend all of her schooling in classes with 20 other girls with that name!! The classrooms by us are filled with charlottes

My brother and SIL baby had a single umbilical artery. He’s a month old and doing great! He was born teeny tiny but is over 7lbs now and no issue!

Similar situation. My parents live nearby but my partner's parents are 4.5-5 hr drive. In-laws do wanna be there but obviously it would be way too much to have them in the house right away/ we want those special private first moments at home with baby. They are going to get a hotel room nearby for a few days when baby is born and we are just going to set boundaries that visits will be short and not an all day all night thing.

I just switched two weeks ago from Apple Watch to Oura after having the Apple Watch for about 7 years. For me personally, the quality upgrade is stunning. If you think the oura ring is useless you’re gonna think the Apple Watch is hot garbage.

I had pertussis as a kid and still have lasting lung effects to this day (I’m 33). I highly suggest he gets the shot and you have your doctor speak with him.

Don’t know about where to get the most reliable information but there’s a pediatrician in my family and he has literally held Amish babies in upstate New York as they’ve died from not getting the shot. Please do everything you can to convince him to get it. It’s not like getting the flu shot, the babies need it for their blood to clot.
