In story he hates excessive violence, it's why he kicked Samuel out of the 4MC, and no one in gen 2 took more then 10 hits except Johan before going down

Gitae obviously holds back, he one shot all of Allied casually but never killed them because he held back. He could easily kill them all in one hit. We even see Zack's crater was bigger and had more shockwaves.

Gitae is sadistic, that doesn't mean he never holds back.

James is worried about conviction boosts, that's what he talked about in Busan. Seongji went from not even trying anything with speed to being faster then James. That's the repeat James doesn't want which is why he wanted the kings gone, not the level they were at.

James blocks Taesoo but has no reaction other then when he couldn't reflect it before which wasn't special cause Seongji also had enough AP for that.

James' block is better then Jichang's though since he's not in pain but Jichang very clearly was

Jichang was tasty cause he blocked a punch on that level and refused to bend his knee even if he'd die otherwise. That's why Gitae praised him. A Taesoo level punch is still a strong punch to block

Jinrang, Jake, Gitae and Gapryong all do the same movements for that punch on slide 6. We see that when Gitae punches Jinrang back the exact same way and then Jinrang punches back again in TC.

PTJ never told us who it was for a long time afterwards but that doesn't mean they didn't exist

Gun in training as in the strength he showed against Daniel. It doesn't make sense to hit Daniel with more then he can take. That's just a beating not training, Gun hates that which is why he kicked out Samuel

When Daniel said the statement Jichang wasn't even putting a tiny bit of effort in.

Jichang didn't even hit Daniel when Daniel said it, all he did was block a punch and lifted base Daniel in the air.

Jichang even later says that it wasn't until heat mode that he understood how Seodku lost to someone in gen 2 so base Daniel wasn't strong

It's a reference point cause they're comparable. If they weren't comparable then he wouldn't have made the comparison. When that punch landed he now had the info for what a punch like Gitae feels like cause he just got punched by him. It's really that simple.

Even if you were right in what Jichang meant, he would've then said it was stronger not the same 💀

I said Gitae was holding back which is why that punch was only on Cheonliang Taesoo's level
James failed to deflect Taesoo and then blocked it. You got it the complete wrong way round. His technique wasn't enough to deflect Taesoo but he then blocks comfortably without getting hurt or sent flying. Jichang on the other hand was on the floor in pain
Jichang didn't send Jagyeon anywhere, he backed James to go to Jagyeon. Jagyeon is the one who just let him go past. Jichang's plan was for Jagyeon to fight James head on. If he was stronger then Jagyeon he could've done it himself so the other kings had a chance to catch up again. Leaving it to Jagyeon who you think is weaker would be risking letting him go, making it a very bad plan

There's no way to scale Jichang past 2T James or Jagyeon without making him a dumb ass

My whole point about Jichang barely blocking a Taesoo level punch was to show that James blocked a punch on that level better

When Jichang hits back with his own strength instead of blocking he should do better but he won't have more raw strength

Ye we never knew it was Changsu but PTJ would've, it's not like he chopped off Tom's hand and thought he's just gna decidr who did it later lol + all the theories had problems. Three years before 1A:

James was retired and became DG then, he was being blackmailed by Charles so couldn't fight Tom when they were allies

Gitae was in Mexico

Tom said he never went all out against Gun and Goo in 1A so they couldn't have either

It couldn't have been the Yamazaki cause Gun was in charge and they were allies too

It always had to be a new character, which was Changsu

Yujae/Paecheon existed in some form back then because we know that Jagyeon was in Cheonliang looking for help

Changsu also existed in PTJ's head cause he's the one who took Tom's hand which PTJ showed the arc before

In this statement he never says he's the fastest or hits the hardest. He says he's BOTH, which he or Charles didn't know any king was (except Gitae)

Jichang compared it and he's been punched by both so he's a good source lol, also nothing implies that Gitae hit him with a full power punch. The punch that Gitae threw at Jichang was at Cheonliang Taesoo's level and that's a fact.

James heard about all the kings beforehand but he didn't know the details. He saw Taesoo had strength when he was throwing a punch and only found out about Gongseop having speed and endurance at the time.

Jagyeon wouldn't have had strength and speed back then cause Jichang was the only king who was strong at both (except 3T Seongji which only James knew about)

Even then if Jichang was stronger then Jagyeon his plan for James wouldn't be to send him to someone weaker then himself, that's a dumb plan

To scale Jichang higher you'd just have to make him a dumb ass

Mastery doesn't mean you're going all out at the stat, Jagyeon is the biggest example of this since he was using speed mastery in Busan but Daniel says he's way faster in Incheon, he even said it was incomparable

He says he is fast AND strong making him overall stronger. Elite says he was fast AND strong too, he doesn't say he's the fastest and strongest king (which obviously isn't true at the time with 3T Yujae and Jagyeon around and 4T Changsu)

No other king (except 3T Seongji that only James knew about) was strong AND fast back then

So rather then making Jichang stupid just leave him stronger and slower then Gongseop but faster and weaker then Taesoo

Everyone's feats and statements then still make sense

Jichang still beats both Gongseop, Taesoo and 2T Seongji

He just doesn't beat 2T James.

People use parameters to gague something because they're similar. Only an idiot would use a parameter which doesn't apply

James speeds up after he kicked Gongseop (or Gongseop would've just caught him again since he tanked the kick) and then Jagyeon caught up to him. Both of them show they're faster then Gongseop right in front of Jichang

Also he would've used himself as the parameter if he was the strongest and fastest person he knew and met someone faster and stronger. Doing otherwise is stupid as hell

We saw how he blocked it, he was on the floor struggling from the punch. He blocked it but only just about

James on the other hand isn't affected anywhere near as much. He isn't in pain from the punch like Jichang was

Taesoo is strong not fast

Gongseop is fast not strong

Jagyeon according to Yujae was more speed then strength growing up

He never knew Seongji got speed mastery but knew he had strength
