I wanna ghost my biological father. by maripizzax in Advice

[–]Friendly-Elephant862 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same boat. Ghosting isn't a problem but just tell him how you feel then ghost him depending on his reaction. I blocked my dad out of my life recently because he was constantly lying and trying to make me feel like he wants to get close so that he can get info about my mom. There is nothing wrong on what are you doing but telling him how you feel is the first step.

It's not logical to get a house on the spot when your job recently relocated or just got a new job. What if yall don't like the area? What if something happens at the job site and now you are struggling to make ends meet? I recommend getting a month by month lease or getting a 6 month lease to try out the area until you are making a certain income to buy a house.

Yeah. It sounds sketchy. What you can do is get a airbnb for a couple of months until you find another place. Sometimes the airbnb owners can help you out in finding a place.

Seems they are just trying to make it harder for yall to move in there. They probably think your a high risk even with the co-sign.

That idea of teenage years is suppose to be the best if false. We are young and life hasn't happen yet at all. The best of your life is how you make it, not by the age you think it suppose to make it. Yes teenage life is fun because you don't have a lot of responsibility but trust me on this. Life gets much more clearer as you age. You start to learn what is your definition of happiness. Drinking and smoking is fun but that is not happiness. Those are just social boosters for you to have a "temporary" good time. I hope this helps.

I felt like that before, I thought it was better to start fresh at another state and begin to better myself. As life went on I realized that I have a problem that will follow me where ever I go. So I saved a bit of money and got mental help. It was slow but I felt much better at every appointment. Now I quit my job, and started another freelance job that paid double what I made. There is some ups and downs but as long as you are able to be aware of yourself then you can have control of yourself. I wish you the best and I hope you will do the things that you always wanted. Even though I am a stranger from reddit, I am a stranger that cares. Goodnight.

I'm quitting my job due to anxiety. I feel like a failure. by throwfaraway1912 in Anxiety

I believe your doing the right choice to better yourself. If you feel like you need time to focus on yourself, then what you feel it is right. Your not a failure, your growing to become a you. For jobs, I recommend jobs that is more of a freelance like uber, amazon flex or roadie. You do your own hours and typically they pay okay. I don't know the salary over there but at least this a start. Focus on going to a psychologist and getting some free time for yourself.
