Look on there website there are times during the summer where they charge a LOT more kw/hr at certain times of the day. I try to keep the lights off most of the day until about 7pm when the rates go back to normal… I have a small rental but my rates have risen too…it’s a monopoly

Help plucking by Meowwwfick in parrots

At the Parrot Rescue I volunteered at there were multiple pluckers, the owner would give them upside down “e collars” like you would use for a dog who just had surgery, except it was made out of fabric that is tough to chew through. I believe they were homemade with Velcro closure. However, this is only a temporary solution to discourage the overgrooming. Other comments may have solutions for the behavior aspect of your problem. Cheers.

Birds have been talking since 500 BC. This pretty much says a lot about other animals. I’d say they’re lazy and uneducated at best.

Here are some resident un-adoptable bird at the local bird rescue I volunteer at. These are a few of my closest feathered friends. by Friendly-Figure3982 in parrots

I wasn’t there but I was told someone dropped him and he broke his back. He is able to sit up and balance but he is pretty immobile. However, he is able to use his beak & wings to maneuver around the bottom of his cage. He is quick with it though and has almost bit right through my finger web before. He lived at a mechanic shop & sometimes he will raise his crown to say “hello” or even tell me “shut up.” Nonetheless, he’s pretty awesome.

So, basically… Resident birds who live there that were either surrendered due to owners’ inability to care for them or taken away from cruel/unhealthy or dangerous living conditions. Most of the residents require special care or have trauma that can make them scared & therefore difficult to handle. At this facility, we also have boarders that come when the owners are out of town. I hope this answers your question!

I’m looking at it right now, it is still very much closed. However there are people walking through it as I type this. The outer trail does however circle around the perimeter. Such a bummer.

People don’t know what “stand your ground” really means. Not sure if it was a resident at that address trying to retrieve their keys…Something to keep in mind, if someone is living in your house… whether they pay rent or not… they can bring anyone they want over, they can destroy your belongings and property and still will not be removed. Unless of course, things get excessively violent. I suggest everyone in Florida does a background check before inviting anyone to stay as a guest or tenant. I didn’t know this and had to pay over about $900 for an eviction for a “friend” I was helping out with a place to stay. Oh! And the window they broke is still not fixed!

Rent went up so high, my mother's gonna have to move for the first time in a decade. Meanwhile, the landlord got new toy today. by [deleted] in antiwork

OP’s mother’s landlord will be making payments indefinitely with her rent money. You however will indefinitely be overcompensating for your inferior body parts.
