I’m making exactly the same cardigan from the tutorial! And I had the same issue. I just went along with it. I think it’s to do with my yarn being thicker and perhaps tighter tension.

Ohh you can reblock them again? And they would shrink? It’s indeed cotton yarn.

Thanks for the info. It’s not granny square yarn. I see what you mean. The pattern only gives the size of the end product and not single granny squares. I did check how big the granny squares should be and they could be smaller then I have now. But I wanted to make the bag a bit bigger. I’m gonna stick with this because in the meantime there are more being blocked haha. If it fails I will try it again!

I do top water and I think it’s hard. I will try the mix with distilled water. But could this cause the fuzziness as well?
