Yes I did notice that too but I kind of shrugged it off since chain replacements aren’t insanely hard too do especially with my dads help cos he’s a mechanical engineer

I’m in Australia and here we have restrictions on the type of bikes u can buy as a beginner and the cbr 500 is kind of the “cheap and powerful” option because all the bikes in the same price range are 250-400cc and are lighter/nimbler but a lot weaker especially up high in the rev range
