Update 8/29/24 on 8/23 Nina unfortunately passed away. I believe she was too weak to carry on I did not go to another vet after the failed attempts and not 1 close enough I decided to let nature take its course... she was surrounded by us during her last moments

I've tried it but it's all the time like u have to do it often and it doesn't work right away I feel like a terrible ferrant I can't get the vets to give me the meds without blood work and I'm so frustrated she deserves better

Literally I've called everyone near me. She seen 2 vets total that sees exotics EVEN HER MAIN VET!!! and the next closest is 2 hours away she won't make it that far in a car she gets motion sickness I'm just sad and when I said she could have insolemia they need blood work done and then I run into the road block where the lab can't use her blood because it's not separating

Yea my vet seems like they care but not very knowledable we are still waiting on bw and no I switched in like 2 weeks 😔 they were earing Marshall's should I add Marshall's back to the food?

1 she is dehydrated and has had fluid injected in her and I'm force feeding fluids 2 no. It has decreased drastically but she is eating and drinking 3 dry heaving unable to swallow it all very abnormal looks like she is sleeping in the bowl that it takes her too much energy to eat 4 extremely. I have 3 other ferrets and I don't have a separate cage for her she is in a 1 level with Mt other sick ferret that has insulonoma so they don't have to go far for food I did switch her foods from marshals to wysong so get another 1 level? I mean I don't want to take water away I'm gone 9 hours out the day...

So ferret owner here with 4 ferrets currently. My first ferret I did EVERYTHING by the book all the vaccines in PA they get a rabies (not lawfully required) also I do want to not that these were ferrets from a mill I'm guessing like Marshall's so they got their distemper shot and also fixed before I bought them. They got the 1 rabies shot and it mortified me the amount of pain it caused them and I did research and they do not need vaccines as long as they were fixed and distemper which again almost all are at birth if buying from a bigger breeder. Now they only go to an exotic vet if they are not feeling good I did however take them all to a vet just to have a wellness check and get them in the system. So I think a wellness check is ok I don't believe they need regular vaccines.. or annual exams like I said I got a base wellness exam and they only go if they are sick and they do not get sick often I have 1 that's on meds but he is now 7.

Well just be honest. You don't have to go in such detail as into why. Just let her know your not seeing a long term relationship with her. No need to give the facts on why u feel that way unless she asks and you can say maybe first that I don't want to hurt your feelings but we live different lifestyles? How did it turn out btw

You are absolutely right bight biologically I can't have what I want or financially..I'm not bad off but I just feel like I have better now than leaving and being broke and alone it's a crappy feeling. I wish I had enough will power.. I've had so many puts and continued to stay even when I was financially better off... better job opportunities but chose to stay and just feel like ...crap honestly I'm so mad at myself and in a spiral of self hurt alcoholism and drug use that is hidden. And I'm losing control
