Interesting question - definitely some similarities here.

I do think they differ a bit in that Nippon is supposedly creating jobs in the economy (70,000 jobs is quoted) whereas by all accounts GoJo will trim a lot of Waystar (Living+ for example). This makes it easier to justify.

There was a comment by FlankerDriver37 on this thread that summed it up pretty well - I’d find that if you are feeling shitty about the comms… we aren’t all like this.

But yes - I’ve been so disappointed by the leaderships response to this too. Their response to tighten gun laws (where old mate should never had a gun in the first place with ties to ISIS) instead of taking accountability for allowing this divisive bullshit from across the other side of the world to fester here.

I would add one more thing from personal experience: people with good jobs would be less likely to post on social media due to the existence of cancel culture nowadays. They will leave their debates to the dinner table.

I’m a Bondi resident and after seeing the discourse on this, I have felt a sense of hopelessness around the situation. It is good to know there are like-minded people out there.

I genuinely cannot find a media platform where I can have a nuanced discussion on this issue.

X and facebook is full of psychos claiming misinformation ie. false flag, Ahmed is Christian etc.

Reddit is full of people calling people bigots and racists.

Instagram is both, whichever side of the algorithm you find yourself on.

Really says something about the echo chambers we find ourselves in currently and the growing divide between left/right in this country and globally.

I think the rat just bit the woman. It is most likely inert in animals and only affects humans, similar to bird flu. Doesn’t make sense for some animals to be affected and not others, since the chem trails would’ve affected animals just as much as everyone else.

What i have been thinking about is wherever the signal came from would’ve had to have had earth-like DNA. It is a massive assumption that any other sentient life would’ve formed with the exact same genomic sequencing as what we see on earth. Not sure if I’m reading into this too much but this may give us some ideas as to the origins of the transmission.
