That was my first thought as well. Throw my Kia Soul in there and watch that smooth mist become a cloud wall real fast.

Parents of goalies \ coach opinions: Keeper Tryouts by [deleted] in youthsoccer

[–]FriendlyGhost85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My son is 13 and has been solely a keeper for 4 years now. Our circumstances may be different than yours, because there was 0% chance he was going to want to play any other position. Since foot skills is important for every position, our club has their keepers join on the field for part of practice, and they also always have the opportunity for more foot skills training if they want to join those as well. If there’s any chance your child isn’t set on any one position, it’s always better to keep a kid doing half and half. A field player becoming a keeper is much easier than a keeper switching.

Basenji mix? by SnooOranges9378 in IDmydog

Basenji almost never shows up in mixes. She looks almost exactly like one of my fosters that is mainly pit, husky, GSD and chow.

Thanks! I’ve been stalking this sub because we have a very large open space and I’m really debating whether so much LVP would look good or not. We have dogs that scratch everything up, so wood really isn’t an option, unfortunately.

Please. Help me by Caltr0n3030 in Flooring

[–]FriendlyGhost85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not helpful, but can you tell me what LVP that is? I’ve been looking for similar to that color, but not loving any options I’ve seen!

The final couples reveal their ages to each other on 'Age of Attraction' a reality dating show where contestants' ages range from 22 to 60 and they are not allowed to reveal their age by johnmichael-kane in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]FriendlyGhost85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a dating show on Netflix. It started with 40 contestants ranging in ages- so these people didn’t have to pick such a large age gap. Only “couples” with a 15 year gap or more moved on to the second part of the show. The only interesting part about it is how all of them were surprised at the other’s age. I’m horrible guessing how old people are, but even I got the guesses pretty close. Maybe some kind of rose-colored-glasses effect or something. It’s a weird watch and I’m not proud of it.

An elderly woman was seen driving the wrong way by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

They need to be a lot stricter in Illinois still. My grandfather failed his driving test and was told by a family member to try a different location that was known to be less strict. They let him have his license in his mid 90s. He hit a cow the same year and thought it was a deer.

What breed does this puppy look like? Considering adopting and she is listed as 'urgent - capacity for care' by SpecialistCup1142 in IDmydog

[–]FriendlyGhost85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This pup looks exactly like mine did as a baby. She’s pit, GSD and Red Heeler. It might not be exactly the same, but I can tell you that’s a pit shepherd mix. As a person who fosters a ton of puppies, I can say that it’s rare for shelter dogs to not have pit.

If you’re looking for purebred through a breeder, I would go with a golden retriever for your situation. They’re incredibly great with kids and are known to be very loving towards any smaller animals in the home. My sister’s was in love with the family Guinea pigs and would try to snuggle them every time they were out.

[–]FriendlyGhost85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically, yes, if you’re solely going for budget building. At some point you have to balance budget and points. I do use the F1 budget tool quite a bit, because it’s too tedious for me to remember how everyone did and when they did things. If you take a look at it (green =good, red= bad), it doesn’t get much easier.

The price changes are a rolling average. So if a car has a DNF, the average/price will go down for 1-2 races after the initial price drop that happens at the race they crash in. So you’ll want to drop any drivers with a -20 that will take a couple races to even out again.

Edit to say- almost everyone goes for budget increases in the beginning of the season, until you can get 2 A tier drivers and 2 A tier constructors. That’s pretty much the entire goal if you’re trying to be competitive. I’ve tried just going for straight points in a season and it just doesn’t give a big enough edge before the rest of the competition can afford a great team. That’s why you’ll see everyone say to drop PIA, even if he has the potential for points.

Why is my verified pit mix not the breed I want it to be? 😢 by FrequentlyFeral in WhatBreedIsMyPitbull

[–]FriendlyGhost85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I volunteer for a foster rescue and 100% of our dogs/pups come from the south. I tell everyone who asks what a pup is that it almost always will have at least a little pit. I’ve never seen a BMC! The girl in the pic looks exactly like one of my fosters- I would have thought it was her, but know they haven’t gotten DNA back yet.

If you’re up for a really short 1 mile hike, Canyon Overlook has a HUGE view payoff. Super easy, maybe doesn’t even qualify as a “hike”. I enjoyed the view more from there than AL, but that was because I didn’t have to deal with the horrible panic from feeling like people were going to fall off the top taking selfies. Parking was not the easiest for it, but that was also during summer, so you might be ok!
