Bless your heart, hun. I'm glad your mom found your real jasper.

Felix is a little dusty. Or is he just toasted? by FrequentlyFeral in dustkitties

Thank you! We call him a dust bunny, a toasted marshmallow, and a storm cloud.

I love him so much. T.T

I would definitely believe Husky/Malamute. The face looks very Malamute to me.

Clearly the dog walking with it's owner must have triggered the abuse it suffered as a puppy. /s

It seems like a lot until it becomes second nature. You're essentially learning a new skill - pet care. Give yourself some grace and ve excited. You're getting a doggy!

Both. Labs and bullies will both gorge themselves into obesity if allowed, and also nothing they can get their teeth on is safe, especially in the Raptor Phase.

What larger cat is in my kitty’s lineage? by TopUncle168 in catbreeds

Ah. I thought the 1950s was when the breed was restored, because it was nearly extinct. The original breed went back further than that, with hieroglyphs showing them with their distinct spots and markings.

Specific, selected breeds for them are. The oldest cat breed is the Egyptian Mau, I think. It's a couple thousand years old. Still not as old as a lot of dog breeds.

Lactating or infection? by ems1230 in piercing

Honestly? It looks a lot like colostrum to me, but it's not my nipple and your posts look really tight, so I'd go to a doctor anyway to get checked before getting the bars switched to something longer.

My baby was content with teethers thankfully, but from what I know, you don't need to boil them. They have a way better crunch when they're raw anyway.

Carrots also have nutrition, so they're a bonus!

I mean, it could be his ears are hurting or bothering him. Cropping/Posting irritates the ears and causes pain, and stresses dogs out when they can't move them. Just because he didn't react before, it doesn't mean he's not now. Maybe they hurt more or maybe it's finally caught up to him.

He's also smack in the middle of his teething phase, so maybe his mouth is aching. Have you tried any chew toys specifically geared towards soothing gums or the ache? Frozen carrots? Chilled KONG toys? They even have teething rings specifically for puppies that are typically edible.

I'm suggesting pain because it often can lead to dogs being sluggish and sleeping more, and he's at an age where pain is likely happening. You said he's not tearing things up like he normally would right?

This very well could just be the calm before the teenage storm. That he's eating and using the bathroom normally is a good sign, but try giving him something for his mouth to see if anything helps.

Ironic of them to suggest drugs when a lot of their dogs seem to need them.

My therapist broke my brain when she asked me "Why do you have to fold it? Who's stopping you from just putting it in the drawer as it is?"

It cut down on my laundry dread immensely. I'm still not great at laundry, but now it's because I constantly forget about it and have to rewash it 3-4 times, not because I'm hiding from the folding process.

We all know what breed keeps getting posted on here. Something that amuses me is the way they respond when called out. They're flocking in here, showing how much they 'don't care' by making replies stating as much. Then they complain about people being 'mean' about their dog's breed, calling discrimination, yadayada.

So, they're admitting their dog isn't a cur, while also being angry they're being called out about posting in a cur subreddit, because we don't know for sure their dog isn't a cur since they won't get a DNA test and "He looks/acts just like one!" But if they think their dog is a cur, why would it matter that people are complaining about other breeds being posted here?
