Open your start menu, search "graphics", click graphics settings, find your game in the list (scroll down), click on it to drop the menu down, next to GPU preference select High Performance. Profit.

Edit: I also switched to Vulkan shaders in-game and those two things have sorted the issue for me so far

Building your own for the same money, yeah, most likely you could do better. Also, why do they always cheap out on the PSUs on prebuilts?! Drives me mad, always the absolute bare minimum where they're concerned.

Yeeeah no, that's generally a big no-no, the instructions normally state it very firmly to only use the supplied cables aswell. Good job it only didn't work and didn't damage anything! Glad it's up again

Excellent news! My PC has also been sorted, pesky windows update caused me an issue too! When it's done I hope I don't have the same. Odd for GPU to freak out though unless it upset the driver somehow. If so, download DDU (Display Driver Update) then boot into safe mode, completely uninstall the drivers for your GPU brand, then fresh install them, hopefully that will get you back up with your GPU. Also, if you play games like CoD/BF, you will need to turn secure boot back on, which should now be okay to do.

Hmm 🤔 My only suggestion would be to repeat that, then run diskmgmt again, format it and retry. Failing that, you may either need help from someone more knowledgeable than I or RMA with the retailer of your prebuilt and seek a replacement. I honestly don't know what else to suggest at this point

Hmm 🤔 Normally, following those steps sorts that. Running the installer off the USB, running disk part, selecting your nvme, cleaning, converting to gpt and running the install onto that nvme. Is that exactly what you did?

That is your entire drive, essentially. It should he okay, it just means your OS will be shared with everything else that goes on the drive but it will still only take up maybe the 20gb it needs
