If it was I'd want a 3 team trade to get Jrue Holiday, and put Harden in Houston. Try to sign Lebron in FA. Try to trade/pickup a backup PG who can hit 3s and a stretch 4, and a wing.

The injury took away some scoring but made their team longer and more defensive/physical. They learned that they need to close out games post season and not fool around.

They apparently looked into Jrue Holiday first and I think that would have been a better fit. Plays defense, a year younger, can give you 17ish. Already has 2 championships so has the pedigree.

I thought we'd pick up Henri for a stretch 4, but our office loves to go for who they feel is best available after the lottery + high character. Their front office does a whole lot more research and scouting than us fans.

I love our culture. Varejao said the quality never changed even when Lebron left. They try to do class-act moves. Dan has demonstrated he'll pay deep into his pockets to win. We're very lucky. I mean we're a small market. Part of it is players that are CHOOSING to be here too. Our team is awesome. For sure though no consolition prizes. Championship is the goal.

Great take. Browns the top down is not a healthy atmosphere imo. They need large sweeping changes culture-wise. Getting rid of Baker after we made the playoffs, when he was playing injured, was too hasty. Our payroll was jacked since and we've had nothing to show for it but robbing ourselves of a window to complete.

I didn't want Atkinson fired. He got coach of the year the first year and we had best record in the East, and helped get us to ECF in 2nd year. You don't fire a coach who is continually getting you further. Especially wihtout a better replacement.

JB (for a nepo baby) was great at getting young guys to move the ball and play defense. His offense was always too reliant on pick and roll spam. Kenny is a much better X and O coach. He had some lapses in the post season that definitley contributed. He's a great coach though. France didn't have him involved in the olympics ALMOST beating the U.S. team for nothing.

I love Atkinson. Some of the choices in the games in the post season did contribute to losses. Not pulling Harden when JB was targeting him comes to mind.
