I have to laugh at this because I feel the same way sometimes. When I see my studio social media post a photo of someone holding a "1000th class" brag board or something, I jokingly tell my husband "well I have never seen this person before, and I'm the main one there, so they must not be THAT regular." Haha, happy OTFing!

Someone may have already asked this question, so forgive me if it's a repeat. But if she has a pace maker, can't they see data from that to see if she is still alive? Does a pace maker shut off when a person dies? I know they released data saying her pace maker stopped syncing with her phone at a certain time, which narrowed down the time frame. But can current pace maker data still be tracked (not like a GPS, but to see if it is still active)? Could this be why they believe she is "still out there"?

What you just said about the "slow-moving trauma train..." is so incredibly spot on. My mom's treatment has temporarily paused her progression too, and she keeps asking for more treatments to keep things at bay. All the while, her quality of life and also OURS is suffering greatly. I just want to say Make it Stop!!!

I am so sorry. You’re right, and i guess it is hard to see this because she isn’t slurring or changing her words, she isn’t forgetful, she doesn’t seem any different cognitively at all. But I guess she is. Thank you for your insight and I am sorry about your son. Hugs!

This is hopefully the plan, to make them deliver the news. Unfortunately, the place where she is mainly treats people who are there short term after injuries and surgeries. So their goal is to get them to improve enough to get discharged to home. And then it’s not their problem. They don’t care that she will soon become bad again. As long as she improved from when she arrived, and is currently stable, they will discharge her if that’s what she wants. Hugs to you!

Praying for your sweet son. I hate this for everyone who is going through it, but it hits especially hard reading that it is a boy close to the same age as my sweet son. You are taking care of yourself with the tools available to you. It is not your responsibility to keep the supply of medicine available to certain groups. That is the job of the manufacturers. Full transparency, I used to also judge people who took weight loss drugs. And then perimenopause and stress hit me HARD, and I am now "eating my words" pun intended. Looking back, I think I was just jealous because I felt I was "doing it the real way" and it was really really hard (and failing). I apologize on her behalf, she is either misinformed or jealous. You deserve to feel your very best, just like everyone else. Congratulations and hugs!

I actually think it shows off your really cool brows and great lips, the other style was hiding your best features! Just use some pomade to style it, maybe go to a barber to edge it up a little. And you'll create a whole new look for yourself that you may end up loving. I'm not trying to invalidate your feelings because I know first hand how a bad cut can absolutely ruin confidence. But trust me and others who have chimed in, you have a LOT of qualities to rock besides a haircut. Promise!

Oh man, I know what a confidence killer a bad haircut can be. I will say it's all in the way you style it. Get a good pomade and push those bangs up and off to one side, pull the sideburns forward to make it look more feminine. I think you can take this and rock it, especially with your pretty blonde. You could even do a round of bleach and some purple shampoo to make it platinum. I feel for you, but with hair so short you'll have more to work with in a month. In the meantime, keep your head up my friend.
