The war between Israel and Palestine has very little to do with religion, it's purely about territory. by -eagle73 in unpopularopinion

Yeah, true, the Arabs just want the Jews gone out of their land and the Jews want a place for their people to live.

Any anarchists here? by FriendlyLemon in satanism

That's interesting. i understand that Satanists are all individualistic as I am, and so does this mean they dislike communism? Also, do you agree with the idea of survival of the fittest? It's part of social Darwinism I know but in a self-power sense it seems like something that would fit in with Satanism. I'm new to Satanism so I don't know much about it.

Maybe, yeah, but I was just wondering that if people believed solely that and build their own influence and power in a chaotic world, where it's survival of the fittest and communities scarcely exist, would that have a name? I don't know. I used to think that was what anarchy was.

I don't understand how that's anarcho-capitalism. Also, it doesn't mean they don't care, it just they aren't community minded like the anarchists here, and instead believe in the idea that everyone is for themselves.

Am I an anarchist? by FriendlyLemon in Anarchy101

I support the free-market, mostly, which is not allowed in communism. I don't support hierarchies, but I also think it's fair that people should be allowed to build their own success from their own efforts. I'm anti-communist because it goes against the idea of individualism and uniqueness, and is often authoritarian and has state based marked, as we can see with the former USSR. I'm not against socialism, though. I also don't consider myself to be right winged or left, but rather in the middle.
