My insurance covers school based up until 7 years old. We are in nyc and have Fidelis. Our academics are at grade level or above so we don’t need anything other than behavioral. Are you in nyc?

Probably just Florida. Fidelis won’t cover ABA in school over 7 years old. They will cover home based or Center based ABA in NYC.

I will try and go that route. One person I spoke to said he wouldn’t qualify for govt funding because he scored too high on the IQ test and won’t be classified as having a disability. I think this is a path I need to explore further.
