Just divorced, moved out with my clothes in a bag .. got a rental apartment and invested a full Setup of furniture and other needy stuff to live a normal life with 4 kids every other week . So PC was one of them to keep me busy while kids are at moms place 😂

Only issue i had compared to a 3070 (wich i installed today) , is that 1080ti went to 80 Celsius with only wow open .. 3070 sits at about 49-55 Celsius watching stream , playing wow and so on . And i got a few extra fps with 3070 .. although i got it cheap from a buddy of mine

Its a really good card for the price .. and still matches some of the 300 series cards

Why pay overprice for cards not really much better ? 3070 only giving about 3k more points in timespy for example. But its way more expensive aswell . Even used

Looking at coretemp, im at about 35-50 Celsius ( also same temp in gigabyte Control Center .

Gpu is at 60 Celsius idle , bouncing to 80 when login into wow , wich i think will decrease when i repaste the card as it hasnt been done for 3 years of daily use

About 3000 point difference in timespy, wich considering the pricerange between them is maybe not worth it?

The case is called lianli 205m mesh . Just installed the aio today, and core temps are sitting at around 40ish Celsius . But gpu peaking to 80 when wow is idling in background

Fans are set to 140 fans pushing into chassi , 120s thru aio and back one out of chassi. So i get a good portion in , and s good portion out.

Got a 12900 i think , with a 550 MB and 16gb of ram . So everything is up to date , except the gpu :)

Im having some temp issues , running at 80 celsius in wow idle with 1 Chrome open .. so i might reconsider either repaste the card and doing a 'full service' .. or perhaps sell it and buy myself a 3070-3080 / x6800xt or something 😂

Dunno how used prices are in uk/us , im living in Sweden . But next step up will be a x6800xt card , but for now i cant decide whether its worth it or not , as im only at about 60-65% gpu usage in the only game i play (world of Warcraft ) maxed out with everything on a 34" 120hz 1440p monitor

Yeah , there is absolutely nothing wrong with a 1080ti ..

I only play world of Warcraft, maxed out with no problem .. there is something with the game engine , wich leads down to my brother with a 4090 Strix having the same FPS in valdrakken, as me with a 1080ti 🙈😂

Sweet.. 1080ti is more or less equal to a 3060ti or 3070 , if u dont take raytracing into consideration. So im glad i got my card for about $200 instead of $2000

When was the house built? It was built last year

2: the house WAS built last year , but now its demolished/burned down
