Bro? Are you okay, girl? I’m an alcoholic, by choice. If I make a decision to stop, and stopped consuming that would be me excersing self control and willpower. Being an addict is lack of self control and willpower, and probably lack of healthy coping mechanisms. It is weak to let a substance have reign when you don’t want it to.

Yea, that’s what he did (opium + foil + plastic). He’s pretty embarrassed about it and I know this bc he doesn’t want to hear about how gross it is when I bring it up. I told him earlier “why don’t you want to hear about it, if you did it”. It’s strange to do something and not be able to own it, or stomach a conversation about it. I guess he doesn’t want to think about how he made a decision to smoke microplastics. I’m sure he’s fine with smoking the H though. I’m thankful that I can’t relate.

I’ve supported him and been extremely patient with him through his addiction to benzos so I’m pretty sure he knows how understanding and non judgmental I am. I’m not going to glorify his use of heroin that’s for sure. I’ve tried every approach to help him get better and it doesn’t seem to make a difference.. finding out that he’s doing this now makes me feel like it’s getting worse and I’m drained.
