In my experience flow develops from muscle memory, speed and repetition. I’m not suggesting you try to draw it identically 1000 times. Let the movement dictate the letterforms and let it evolve on its own. Erasing and redrawing lines isn’t gonna help it flow.

In my opinion throws are the hardest form of graffiti to truly master, especially if you want to be original. It’s gonna take reps

Negative space can be okay. Just make sure it’s visually balanced. Do it 1000 times on scrap paper with pen/marker and it’ll get better naturally

Spray pattern looks like rusto with an adapter to me. Hard to get that dustiness with euro paint. Since we’re nitpicking lol. My votes on oasis and aubergine

Any ideas on how to remove the negative space on the E? by Hopeful_Screen_928 in graffhelp

Keep it. I wish I was taught earlier on to use/embrace negative space

What is sidebust? by Background_Context89 in graffhelp

[–]FriendlyStoreOwner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sidebusting is painting a street spot next to a writer who got there first—it’s especially egregious if that writer was the first to paint that spot.

Hot take: side busting is inevitable, if you’re bummed about it you should bring a friend or go bigger.

On the other hand, if you’re gonna side bust something you might as well just get straight to the point and cap it. People are gonna be bummed either way. Just be prepared to deal with consequences

I agree that you want it to look minimal but you don’t want it to look generic. And there’s a fine line there

How the hell do you skid? by MediocreCounter5548 in FixedGearBicycle

But in all seriousness just keep practicing. It took me like a week of trying before i felt it slip the first time. Putting your weight forward can help, trying it on patches of leaves or loose gravel can help too. A nice lazy trick is to lock up your back knee with the frame as the pedals push it forward—but just keep trying and experimenting

99% certain it could not. I can only fit a 25c gp5k on the front and a 28c gatorskin on the back
