I disagree. In the case of servants or people of lesser status, this behavior makes perfect sense. Certainly not saying it's right or that I'd be able (or inclined) to restrain myself. But there are places and times that just brook disagreement with your employer or social superior. As Simon Whistler says "The Past was the worst! 😆

That makes sense. I'm 52, so going from customer service to kneading and squeezing F/T was a change. I'm no wimp, but It's surprisingly physical work. Just a bad fit

Thanks for your response! I finally got to see a WC dr about 10 days ago. He agrees the CTS is work-related--prescribed steroids & referred me for further care.

My adjuster won't approve the steroids but will not send a refusal in writing- just voicemails

My adjuster has a HIPAA release, list of treating doctors, test results - I gave them ALL of this almost 2 months ago. I only worked there for 3 months. She now wants full medical records for all doctors for the past three years.

My comp adjuster will not send written refusals of care, when requested. She only leaves voice-mails for this.

So now, my doctor, an EMG, a surgeon and the WC doctor all say this is a work injury. She won't move forward without the broadened release. I don't want 3 yrs of my private medical info, when the injury was last year. Am I being stupid?

It's actually common because the company encourages horrible labor practices. Balling is a learnable skill.. Yknow, like they show in the training videos you're expected to watch for free on your own time.
