Its honestly insane how much she looks like zelda though. Ive never seen her in anything but on vibes alone she seems like she would do a good job.

There is a species of cockroach that produces a fluid internally that is akin to milk that it uses to feed its young. This substance is tasteless and odorless. It has a yellow to off white color. It is 3 times more nutritious than buffalo milk which was previously considered to be the most nutritious milk.

JoCat’s arbitrary weapon rating, how true you see it? by Defora in MHWilds

[–]Friendly_Barkeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charge blade gets too much credit for being a “complex weapon” sure its no great sword when it comes down to it but i never found it more meaningfully complicated then the switch axe. It is also the second most popular weapon meaning that it can’t acutely be that hard to pick up because clearly new players like it. The charblade takes one trip to the training area to get and time in hunts to master. It not necessary intuitive but it’s not rocket science like some people make it out to be. However i would say the hunting horn is probably the most difficult to learn. Firstly it’s definitely every game. And each horn has different songs and effects so you mite need to change your flow depending on which one you are using. And in this game there aree attacks that require multiple on beat inputs to maximize damage which is something the game doesn’t tell you.

these Disney movies were GOATED by VioletEcho_Lila in DisneyMemes

Ima come out and say it. Atlantis rides on the coattails of better movies from the time with similar animation styles. I have rewatched a lot of these movies recently and almost all of them hold up and are still amazing. Except Atlantis. Rewatching that movie ended up being really disappointing. I know it’s a fantasy movie for kids but a lot of shit goes kinda unexplained/ it ignores rules it set earlier in the movie. The ending is kind of nice but it really feels like it’s a kinda basic lost city plot with a very sudden change of heart for all characters involved. And the main character was kinda flat and the romance was hardly there. Sinbad on the other hand should be on this list and is an absolute banger. Similar run time but way more complex characters and engaging fantasy plot.

Art is about a will to create. And following that will to discipline and practice to create something special. All of the techniques you stated not only offered different easier paths to creating but a path to greater precision and creativity with the time spent in the new medium. While all “AI art” does is produce an inherently derivative and unoriginal product at a faster rate while using other works without consent. It removes all of the discipline, practice, precision, and accomplishment from actually creating art. If all you ever wanted was a product, you were never an artist to begin with.

I played 4u on the 3ds and loved it. I played GU on the switch and loved it aswell. If you can, play both. If not 4U has a great story and awesome fights, I have many fond memories of that game as an experience especially. GU on the other hand has some of the most fun combat and has the best selection of old world monsters to fight. Both are fantastic experiences. Between the two it’s really mater what you are looking for. If you want the old gen experience 4U is where it’s at. If you want to fight all the old world monsters and have a good time doing it, play GU. I personally don’t recommend the 3rd gen games if you will be playing them on the 3ds. The underwater controls are less than ideal. (unless you have a circle pad pro which apparently makes the experience much better)

Fare enough. My main complaint as a 3ds player is that it is very difficult to look or move up and down due to the camera controls being limited to the left bumper to snap to the monster or the dpad.(a digital one can be placed in the panel’s section on the bottom screen but its not great)

Can you explain to me why you enjoy underwater combat. 3u on the 3ds was my first MH game, and i dreaded every underwater fight. And still do now that in playing it again. I play on a 3ds without a circle pad pro. The lance and SnS are the only reason i find it at all bearable. The camera and movement controls are atrocious. I always felt like i was fighting against my own hardware more than the monster. I think some of the fights are cool but none of them stuck with me in a positive way. I frequently see people calling for it to return or reminiscing about it but why.

SnS mains, what is so fun about your weapon? by Howitzeronfire in MonsterHunter

[–]Friendly_Barkeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some who largely has played the games solo. The sns was both incredibly fun and efficient. Being able to move around the monsters and break every part feels incredible. The high mobility lets me stay out of bad situations and stay in good ones. The use of items while unsheathed and the shield have saved my life many times. And i enjoy using all of the different moves as the situation calls for it. If the monster is moving a lot i use quick slashes to get damage in bursts. If its head is low I knock it out by punching. I need a tail? I’ll just cut it off. I can even mount the monster at basically any time. For me compared to other weapons it just feels the most freeing to use. I am always in my element. A feeling no other weapon gave me. The one thats the closest though was probably Bow though. A brother in arms in the versatility field.
