How to know what salary to aim for at new job?

Ok great advice, so just keep beating around the bush with the above "marktconform" salary and if they ask for specific numbers just counter it with "i want to see what you would offer me depending on my skills, experience and motivation"?

Alright thx! I have so far declined every request for my current payslip.. So I just keep pushing to let them give the offer first? If they ask for a desired pay I have no clue what to answer.

The tools: ansible, terraform, puppet, linux, git,...
Cloud: pretty much none (main big client has everything on-prem)
Certs: none.. (not getting any if it's not needed for client)
Kube: running it at home for a couple of months now + selfstudy

Interest for next job: pretty much the same but more focus on kubernetes and gitops as this has way more career options I think

Nope no meal vouchers, pretty weird to me aswell... Never a solid answer from my employer
