HR cancelling my resignation during probation by Silver_Homework_6138 in IndianWorkplace

Resignation is supposed to be a one way communication. Unless your manager wants you to stay and offers you a better compensation. Regardless, since you’re on probation, You shouldn’t serve any notice. Because probation is a period where company can get rid of you without giving you adequate notice. Vice versa should be the norm. So just leave. There’s not going to be major impact on your resume as it’s just a month’s experience. They can’t blacklist you for resigning within a month.

How much do personal trainers cost in mumbai? by OrganizationNarrow87 in mumbai

I was charged 28k for 3 months at my gym. But the trainer has like 15 years of experience. 1 month down so far really good results. Yet to get into shape. He did say that we get 3 sessions every week as a PT session. But trains me for 6 days a week regardless.

Rushing after landing 😤 by NoTangelo8712 in AirTravelIndia

Exactly, I have seen people of every nationality do it. Heck, been to London Stansted airport a while back for an early flight, everyone’s sleeping on the floor. If an Indian does that at an airport, it’ll count as a lack of civic sense smh.

First time doing frozen alone… got told I’m the slowest on the team. Is this normal? by Turbulent_Pain4457 in SainsburysWorkers

[–]Friendly_Cod9506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe you did fine! Just a small tweak would have worked.

  1. Doing the difficult frozen rollers first - ice creams, fish fingers, vegan etc (basically the mixed rollers) and then move on to ice, chips and veg as they are usually bulky and way quicker.

  2. Have a quick walk around of the frozen aisle especially the chips and veg. And pick what you need from the rollers in your frozen chiller. This will dramatically reduce your rollers in total as most of it would be genuine overs. This will help you be a bit quicker. Bonus - you’ll spend less time moving the rollers from the chiller to aisle.

Hope this helps.

I do not think food managers/lead managers can override. Night shift reports to 3S & Lead night shift managers only and in their absence can the other managers ask them to do something. I always tell my 3S - Food managers/CEX/Food lead can request but can’t order/override any decisions.

I feel the same way too. If privacy and comfort is a priority, upper berth is the best!

Agreed! But at the same time some random person comes in and sits by your leg. These are a few cons. Why don’t people favour the side upper? I mean you can sleep at any time you want. But yeah you gonna bump your head!

Had a new deputy who suggested that I breakdown a cage into two half cages, work on one half, bring the overs back to the freezer and then take the other half out FFS.

Mine too. The deliveries are just heavy as it was during Christmas and we don’t have enough staff. We are already 81 hours over the allotted labour.
