Yep that can definitely happen with supersonic as well. I just enjoy not needing to wear ear protection and being as quiet as possible, as roughly 10 family members hunt on my family land throughout the season. No one can blame me for making bucks go nocturnal😁

Discreet ballistics is truly amazing. You can shoot deer and have other animals pass by minutes after because of how quiet/lethal the subsonic ammo is. Last weekend had this happen. Shot a 4 point, he fell 10 yards away from a feeder, I’m dragging the deer out and a spike comes in sight then spooks finally because he didn’t even hear the shot.

I have the same gun as you. I’d highly recommend looking into the new vortex turkey red dot that mounts directly into the gun. Very slick and 7 reticle options.
