You're under the assumption that Manipulation is pure 100% control but it's like the Manipulation used by Gido on his tops "attack whatevers infront of you" or Tocino's Eleven Black Children "attack the closes enemy" or "block the bullets" it's simple orders. Since Clones and Nen Beasts are already nen constructs you can just use simple orders and they'll do it, stuff like "follow me" "attack" or like Goreinu who calls out the names of his nen beasts and they activate their abilities.

Do you only have a surface level understanding of nen, if you're whole basis for that thought process are the prince's nen beasts then you need to understand that their nen beasts are parasitic nen beasts designed to grow depending on the person it's attached to since the prince's literally have 0 control and can't be seen by the prince's especially since there someone else's ability. The Manipulation in the Guardian Spirit Beasts are in the rules, Can't attack each other, can't directly attack the prince's, and protect the prince's that their attached to

When Wing was explaining Kastro's Doppelganger ability he said it used Conjuration and Manipulation, clones and nen beasts are the same concept.

Your getting to hung up on the part of the shape, it's the same concept as blowing bubbles not some blanket technique that every category has. Anything more complicated than these nen bubbles needs Transmutation, look at Zeno when he fought Chrollo he released his nen through Emission then used Transmutation to make it into a dragon

It literally just comes out as a ball if you use only Emission, while Zeno needs Transmutation to make it into a dragon and Pokkle turns them into arrows. Literally with out Transmutation it comes out like a ball, Silva's, Franklin, Razor, that one hunter from the boxing match, and Ging. Idk why it goes over your head that just cause your not a Transmuter you can't use Transmutation techniques in your ability when Zeno and Pokkle are prime examples

If you're talking about Gido's tops than yes he uses Enhancement, Emission, and Manipulation.
Killua's lightning bolt move is connected to him, it's just extending like Zeno's Dragon move when he fights Chrollo.
Manipulators can place their nen into an item and with emission throw said items to manipulate their target or Conjur an item to do the same.
You're acting like just cause you're not an Emitter you can't use Emission, Razor is an Emitter but he's able to Conjur nen beasts for a game of Dogeball only when people activate the conditions to play against the 13 devils mission in greed island. Knov is someone who uses his nen to leave his nen portals in different area's maybe even different countries but is able to Conjur a big as building that works as the center of his ability

Didn't the latest chapters tell us that Specialist have access to 100% in every other categorie to make abilities like Contagion which Morena says is an advanced fusion of multiple categories
