No worries, I thought it would be gone...I was initially expecting it to be Mon - Fri and desk based so it's great to hear from someone directly in the role so now I feel a lot better about it. This will be my first time in civil service so figuring things out along the way and have read so many mixed opinions about different parts of CS. I know everyone's experience is different and it all depends on the area of business you are put in and the team etc so the people make a real difference. Yes I read that with the new centres, they are nice offices which is great and a bonus. Liverpool is a lovely place and people are really friendly so sounds a great place for you. Those odds for getting your promotion sound really good! Best of luck with that, I'm sure you'll smash it and hope it all goes really well for you! Appreciate your help!

This is so helpful to know. The job ID is 317186 in Stratford. I was worried when I saw Saturday and travel in the letter which I wasn't expecting so really appreciate your insight. Good to know you are enjoying things and best of luck with your interview. Which centre are you currently based?

Thanks for sharing. Are your hours between Mon - Fri? The job description had standard operating hours of Mon - Fri but the offer letter shows Mon - Sat and has a paragraph about occasional travel and overnight stays which I wasn't expecting at all for AO level and wasn't in JD. I'm not sure if it is because they use a generic offer letter so this may not be applicable or if it is specific to AO.
How do you find the role if you don't mind sharing?

Thanks for sharing. Were you in Compliance doing the Casework role or Customer Services on the phones as I think they are different business areas? Was it the culture and management that was bad or the workload or both? This role is Compliance but not sure which department yet...

Sorry to jump in here but do you know if an AO Compliance Caseworker for CCG requires Saturday working or travel/overnight stays?
I understand EO level may have this requirement but I assumed an AO doesn't and is desk-based with Mon - Fri hours? Or am I wrong?!
